[A New Journey!]

'Man, that was a tough class...' It's been a week since my talk with Ino, we didn't really part on good terms but she was there in the class today… I wiped the sweat from the back of my head and walked towards Tsunade-sama's office…

'She didn't seem angry anymore, though she did ignore me throughout the class...'

I sigh and knock on the door…

"Come in" Hearing a muffled come in, I open the door and enter only to stop dead in my tracks…

'What is she doing here...'

Ino stood next to Shizune in front of Tsunade-sama's desk, I was confused but I still managed to gracefully walk up to her desk and stood on the opposite side of Shizune-san…

'... stop being amused at the situation...'

Tsunade-sama was smirking as she caught my face when I entered while the other two had their back turned… I gave her a wry look and said, "I thought you were going to teach me something Tsunada-sama..."

"And I will, here first meet my new apprentice, this is Ino Yamanaka..."

'...why am I getting the feeling that I am getting played here...'

I turn toward Ino and said, "Congratulations Ino"

'...don't give me a fake smile...'

"Thank you Tobi-san!"

I sigh and turn back to Tsunade-sama to see an amused expression on her face… She then pulled out two scrolls and threw them towards us, "These are your supplies for the next part… Ino-chan is just getting started on medical ninjutsu, but this lesson is on basic fuinjutsu that I assume non of you know?"

I could feel the question was more directed at me so I shook my head, "... why are we learning seals though?"

"How many injuries can you treat with your mystical palm Tobi-kun, deep cuts and muscle damage, broken bones? But how would you treat crushed bones, insert a metal rod in place of a bone? Fuinjutsu is one of the most mysterious subjects, a master of fuinjutsu can seal even the Kyubi into a scroll..."

I can sense Shizune panicking at the mention of sealing the Kyubi…

'Tsunade-sama seems like having fun with the Hokage's Job… I guess she never really wanted to do it...'

"... you don't need to be a master with Fuinjutsu to operate on patients but, you need to know your way around seals, so inside these scrolls are a lot of fuinjutsu supplies and reading material… I need you to memorize it completely, practise your Kanji and get comfortable with a brush in your hands, you will be using it for the better part of the upcoming months..."

She waved her hands in a dismissing motion and I used shunshin to get out of the room…

I arrive back inside my room and threw the scroll into my inventory, I threw myself on my bed and groan…

'...she as the Hokage should help her best ninjas... not mess with them...'

I cursed the situation a couple of times before I sit up and focus on the scroll sitting in my inventory…

'...might as well, at least with the Sharingan this will be a lot easier...'

I open the scroll and a brush, a lot of Ink and a lot of scrolls came out of the scroll along with a book called 'Seals for dummies'.

'Real funny Tsunade-sama...'

I store the scrolls and ink in my inventory and got up to put the curtains on my window… I sat back down on my bed and open the book…

'Sharingan'

"'If you have been coined as a dummy for your entire life don't worry...'"

I blink and let my Sharingan fade away as the opening words are forever etched into my brain, I turn the book over to the first introduction page and read the authors name… "'Jiraya'"

'...I hope Naruto doesn't become too much of an idiot after spending time with him...'

I open the book again this time without my Saringan…

"'...because Jiraya-sama is here to impart some knowledge upon you, now, first of all, let's make it clear, you are just reading my book and not my apprentice and that does not make you heir to my fortune, second of all, I don't have a fortune so Minato leave me alone dammit...'"

'...'

*Blink*

I sigh and close my eyes, "You are torturing me for something ain't you Tsunade-sama… I don't remember doing anything wrong..."

I look at the book in my hands…

'I am gonna regret this...'

Today was the day Naruto was leaving on his trip with Jiraya-sama, I lowkey glared at him for writing that horrendous book but at least he knows his stuff and I got the skill…

Jiraya-sama stepped in front of me while Naruto and Sasuke were having one of their standoff's… "What's up Gaki! You seem pissed at something..." I stared at him for a second before taking his book out from my pocket and tossed it to him, "Tsunade-sama assigned me to read this as part of the training..."

I stopped speaking when I see him getting a little misty-eyed upon seeing the book… he noticed my look and chuckled a little, "...Just a blast from the past Kiddo! Do you mind if I keep this?"

"Of course no..t..."

By the time he already has put the book away before I could answer and leaned closer to whisper, "... the Akatsuki are stopping their operations, at least for three years, so you are in the safe… get stronger in that time you have, because I don't know the shitstorm that is coming after that…" He stood up and said, "Take care Kiddo!" he waved as he walked away from me…

'...huh we do have that trait in common...'

I notice Naruto was staring at our Interaction before he said, "Let's have a spar once I come back..."

"Sure..."

"Let's go Gaki!"

Jiraya-sama screamed as he was going away from us… Naruto waved as he started jogging to catch up to Jiraya-sama…

'... It is gonna be a little silent with those two away...'
