Chapter 39

Midnight proceed to his first mission, he head to kill the Town's Chief of Shingaku, he remembered his friends that got killed in the forest of West he felt like it was his fault that he was still weak that he can't save them.

He wonder if Jasmine, Shina and Ivan was doing fine he wanted to make sure if they safely get away so he wondered in town for an hour.

After he wondered for a while he didn't find a trace of them staying in Shingaku Town anymore but he still managed to get some information that they disband their party after the incident and the tree of them went to their home town.

He don't know where is their home town but he will make sure that one day they will going to met again, Midnight proceed to his mission he ask the vendor on the street if they know where the town chief live but he failed to track the town chief house.

The moon was visible and shining in the darkness the town that lively in the morning look like a ghost town when the night comes. "Something is wrong here, this is so quiet." Midnight said while he is one of the tallest house looking at the street.

Then Midnight saw something a far, the lights there are open as if some kind of festival, Midnight decided to go there. Midnight is jumping in the roof silently thanks to his skill "Shadow Walk" it can hide your presence and it also reduce noise so that no one will notice.

After a while he is near where the lights coming from, it is one of the town street and it only open in night, the street is so lively like a festival and people are around, he tried to focus his sense to the surrounding.

He find out the the people in there are looking for pleasure, that street is full of brothels, Midnight was ready to leave but he find something in the corner where people don't usually come.

A girl is being harass by the group of people. "Hey! Did you forget what we have done for you? We give you the money but you tried to hide! You thought that you can get away from us?" One of the guy said.

"I still don't have the money to pay you! I'll make sure that I'll give you the money so give me sometime to get it!" The girl said while being hold by the two guy.

The guy who was talking before take a few step to get closer to the girl then he put his hand in the girl cheeks. "We don't have much time to give you! But you can do something for us! And maybe we can tell our boss that you need more time!" The guy said and look to his companions and they started to laugh.

The girl started to cry as she beg she will get the money for them, but the guy started to touch her slowly from her cheek, the guy slowly move his hand below as he feel the girl skin.

When he is about to touch the girls chest a sword is close to his neck and made a small scratch and it started to bleed, he didn't notice that all his companions die silently as he look around.

He knows that someone is behind him so he ask Midnight what he wants, "What do you want? Do you want this girl? Then fine you can take her!" The guy said.

Before that happen when Midnight saw that someone is being harass he watch for a while to know what is going on and if there are still someone is around and when he found out that no one is around he use his skill to get behind of the guy.

He instantly kill them by using his left hand to cover their mouth from making noise as he trust his sword to their vital parts, and the guy who is holding the girl he throw a knife in their forehead.

The guy who is touching the girl didn't notice it because he is solely focused on fulfilling his desired but the girl saw it all because he was facing in the different direction from the guy.

Back to present when the guys is asking him what he wants, instead of answering it he is going to kill him but the guy open his mouth again and started to talk. "Don't you know us? When our boss knew this you won't get away from these mess he will surely kill you! How about this you let me go and I won't pursue this matter anymore and that girl! You can also take her with you!" The guy said.
