Just the presence of the Rank 4 beast was enough to kill all the hidden critters and snakes which were residing inside of the cave.
All the vines which were covering the entrance turned to ashes when he landed inside the cave and without much thinking, he started putting everything he saw in his System space. Be it medicinal herbs such as Purple Blue Leaf, White Spirit Ginseng Fruit, Snow Lotus Seed, Ice Spirit Blazing Grass, etc or the 3 stone boxes on the stone platform which were hidden behind a formation lock.
Boeing trained in Inscriptions, He very quickly uncovered and destroyed them, after which he simply took them into his storage space, while also taking the skeleton which was sitting there.
'This is a good place to relax for a while.' He thought as suddenly a king-sized bed appeared out of his storage ring in the cave and he sat on it and sighed.
'First of all, let me see the [Rainbow Poison Scroll]. Making poison from this and consuming them made Yi Xian a Dou Saint so quickly! It is easy to get powerful if I kill her and acquire her [Woeful Poison Body] but then again, I don't think I can make a Poison Pill to control it. I could learn alchemy but I have too much on my plate right now..and the side effect of having a [Woefull Poison Body] is disadvantageous in making contact with more heroines of the novels and acquiring powers, and favours from them.'
After musing on the fate of Yi Xian, Hong Chen put his concentration on the scroll and soon learned all the contents of it.

Hong Chen looked at a small stone not far away from his bed and said "shatter" and suddenly the sound waves which escaped his lips carried a purple lighting with it, which instantly shattered the stone.

In the Green Mountain town, There was a girl living in the mountains who was about 15 years of age.
She would go collect plants and herbs daily and would try to concoct medicines from them.
She had always wanted to become an alchemist, but the reality was cruel to her, as she didn't have the elemental attributes of fire and wood required to become an alchemist.
Still, she tried using poison, which was her natural affinity, to help people, but she was always afraid that she might hurt someone from it, and hence, decided to first become efficient in making ointments from herbs.
She was none other than Yi Xian. She had ash white hair and was wearing a pale white dress. She was not extremely beautiful but could be called an uncommon beauty. Her lightly smiling face emitted a fresh aura that was unique and greatly increased her charm.
She had one of the narrowest and most delicate waists, and her gentle and soft demeanour was more than sufficient to sway one's heart.

She was undoubtedly pretty, but looking at her, Hong Chen only had one thought in his mind.
'To kill her or not to kill her? Woeful Poison Body if Salvaged should net me many Salvage Shards, but if she is cultivated, she could become a very strong ally in the near future.'
After wrecking his brain for more than 10 minutes, Hong Chen decided to stay his hand for now, as he had just murdered Qing Lin a night before, and now another murder for benefit seemed to him like he was losing his rationality and just going about the world like a zombie.
He didn't want his fears to control his decisions, and hence, he first decided to test her usefulness.
He would give her the [Rainbow Poison Scroll] 5 years early than canon, and if she can prove to be a valuable ally in the near future, then it would be great, and if not, well, then he was always in the need for some Salvage Shards.
Making up his mind, he released his breadth and let his presence know.
"Who…Who are you?" Asked Yi Xian with a light blush as this was the first time she had seen such a handsome and gentle face, unlike the faces of the mercenaries she is used to seeing, and from his aura alone, she could deduce that he was way more powerful than those mercenaries combined.
"Hello! I was just searching for a herb to craft my next batch of medicines." lied Hong Chen very smoothly.
"Craft…? Are you an Alchemist!?" asked Yi Xian with an excited voice.
"Yes. I am Rank 2 Alchemist visiting Misty Cloud Sect. My Name is Hong Chen. What should I call you, Miss?"
"I am Yi Xian! Please come here! I know so many herbs around the mountain!" Yi Xian excitedly approached Hong Chen and started her barrage of questions…
Mainly what pill he was concocting, or why when 2 poisons are mixed with spirit grass, the grass withers, etc.
"Slowly slowly. Let's first sit somewhere and then chat." Replied Hong Chen as he calmed her down.
Only then did she notice that she was way out of line of her original character and instantly backed away, before apologizing.
They both sat on a fallen tree bark as Yi Xian did not invite him to her hut, which he could see just a few meters away, while she was clutching a powder in her right hand.
'Well, at least she has some sense.'
"So Yi Xian, you live here alone?" Asked Hong Chen to start a conversation.
"Uhh No Sir, I live with my parents, they are mercenaries in the town." Lied Yi Xian as it was not wise to tell a complete stranger about your living conditions.
"Hmm…Well, That is sad." he said while faking a sad sigh.
"Heh? Having a family is sad?" Yi Xian exclaimed as she was left speechless by Hong Chen's attitude.
"No, Having family is not bad, but being the reason of your family's death is sad….staying away from your loved ones for their own sake is sad." replied Hong Chen with a little bit of melancholy, as if he has gone through it on his own and now Yi Xian was going through as well.
"I don't…I don't understand-" muttered Yi Xian as an ominous premonition rose in her heart.
"Just looking at you, it is evident enough that you have a special Physique known as 'Woeful Poison Body'. It means that you only need to consume poison continuously to reach Dou Saint. No cultivation or dou qi technique is required; but…. The drawback of such a powerful technique is that there will come a time in your life when you will lose control of your mind and would just become a vengeful creature who only knows destruction."
The more Hong Chen spoke, the more color drained from Yi Xian's face.
She already knew that something was wrong with her as, since a very young age, she had been able to drink poison, and although she has never practised any dou qi technique, she still broke through naturally and became a 3-Star Dou Practitioner.
Having experienced all of this since a young age made her very inclined to believe everything Hong Chen said; which broke her pretense and tears involuntarily flowed out of her eyes.
Hong Chen got up and went up to her, before embracing her.
Her entire body stiffened up as soon as she felt him hugging her and drawing soothing circles on her back, and soon she started to crying hysterically.
"NO! NO! This can't be…No-"
There were obviously some doubts in her heart but right now, she could not think straight.
Still, after what seemed like minutes, she steeled her heart and pushed Hong Chen away as she promised herself that she will find a way to control her physique.
"I know what you are thinking. You are thinking that you will find a way to control your physique, and it is true. You can control your physique with a Rank 7 Poison Pill, but the question is, who will you ask for the pill? Do you know, that your physique is a very good candidate to make a Yin Cauldron? Hong Chen did feel a little sorry for her, but he needed to tell her the truth so he could judge her worth as soon as possible. He didn't have time to beat around the bushes or wait for her to become the village physician and then pretend to discover the cave with her like Xiao Yan did.
He knew he can't approach all the women Xiao Yan approached the same way as him as the circumstances Xiao Yan met those women were extremely lucky. "No. That is a very evil thing to even consider for someone like myself. I could never do that to a pretty and sweet girl like you. I just told you what I know of the Woeful Poison body. Now whatever you do from here on out is totally on you."
Hong Chen started to leave after saying this and looking at his back which was slowly and slowly getting farther and farther away, the hope in her heart was slowly and slowly getting crushed.
"Wait! You said the Rank 7 Poison Pill can cure me….and you also said that you are an alchemist! Does that mean that you can make me a poison pill in the future?"
Hong Chen's steps stopped.
'Bingo!'
He turned around and looked at Yi Xian for but a moment before going up to her and nodding.
"If you can wait for me to breakthrough to a Rank 7 Alchemist, then yes. But that would mean that you would have to absolutely trust me and my capabilities and not search for other alchemists.
If you can do that, I would be more than happy to help you out. I just can't see another human in distress."
Yi Xian was not stupid enough to go to other people after knowing that she could be made into a Yin Cauldron by any of them. She didn't know if she could fully trust Hong Chen but till now, he had done nothing to her and seemed like a very genuine person.
She quickly ran to her house and gathered every herb she had been collecting, and ran out before presenting them to him.
"You said you came here to get herbs, no? Take these. I have faith in you."
Hong Chen smiled and took all the herbs in his spatial ring, much to the astonishment of Yi Xian.
"Spatial Ring!" she exclaimed.
She had only heard of the existence of such a ring but Hong Chen, being the Young Master of Hong Family from the Central Plains had plenty.
He suddenly took out a Spatial ring in his hand and handed it to Yi Xian.
"In this ring, there is a Rainbow Poison Scroll. It records thousands upon thousands of combinations of herbs to make them toxic. This can help you in your cultivation.
This also has a contact talisman and a few gold. You can talk to me from it and if you are in danger, it will act as a defensive artefact.
Just drop your blood on it and claim the ring."
Spatial rings didn't need to be bounded with blood, but what Hong Chen was giving her was a ring which could track her every location with extreme precision and hence it need her blood to be activated. Of course, that part was left out in the explanation.
Hong Chen just couldn't be too sure with this gamble and prepared for the worst.
Yi Xian on the other hand couldn't believe that Hong Chen was just giving away something as rare and precious as a space ring to her and not only that, but to ensure her well-being, he even gave her a defensive artefact.
"Take it. Don't be shy. This is the least I can do for a friend, right?" Said Hong Chen as he stuffed the ring in Yi Xian's hands.
"Frie- Friend.."
For the next day, Hong Chen made a makeshift cave near Yi Xian's hut with just the raw power of his [Purple Void Lighting]. It cut the stones like butter and Yi Xian was amazed to find that it was more practical and homely than her hut.
Hong Chen stayed there for a week with her, showing off cool tricks to make her believe that he was as awesome as he pretended to be and because he had spent quite a lot of time with Han Li and Han Xue, he could hold a conversation on herbs and their properties with a novice like Yi Xian.
This finally solidified Hong Chen's image in Yi Xian's heart as her first friend and she thought she could do anything for him.
This was the simplicity Hong Chen was exploiting.
In the novel, Just because Xiao Yan helps Yi Xian a little, she betrays the Halls of Soul for him and would even give her life away to save his.
These kinds of stupid female leads was what Hong Chen was most looking forward to as it was the easiest way to get them to fall for you.
Out of all the novels he saw in the memory of that soul, He understood that all he needed to do to make them fall for him was to either show them that they were different, do something to them under the influence of aphrodisiac, or do something along the lines of what the protagonist of those novels did.
