The Syrinxes & The Queen Bee

A lonely girl was deceived into being captured by a race of powerful winged mages to give birth to their kids. The hated fate of their Queen Bee was complicated by the appearance of other more powerful magicians who flew to their colony from another planet. Intro  Welcome to the universe of syrinxes - winged vampires, a multi-gender community. For two thousand years, powerful magicians have been in an endless war with the flesh-eaters Zirux, who outnumber them, so they recruited mortal people to help, colonizing 22 planets and forcing women to give birth to half-breed offspring for the needs of the war. The story begins with the first book, The Syrinxes of Zaria. The action takes place on an abandoned colony seven years away by space ship from the main stronghold of the planet Xantari, ruled by five ancient Archons.

Rumors about a truce between people and syrinxes quickly spread throughout numerous settlements and the Queen had a hard time: people came every day with their requests and complaints. She asked Erin to provide her with 24-hour security guards in case of conflict situations, and Rohen, whom she was a little wary of, volunteered to help organize meetings with visitors.

There were so many claims and complaints that the question arose of creating a written cooperation agreement, but the syrinxes did not have an alphabet and had to learn the one that people had.

The Queen instructed her assistants to draw up the document and post it in front of the city gates. It said that the two races had made peace forever and pledged to help each other in improvement and defense against foreign invaders. A special section was dedicated to women: syrinxes are prohibited from approaching human settlements and communicating with people, but if girls voluntarily came to Azaren in search of a husband, then the citizens of the city are not obliged to return them to their native villages.

Very often, angry fathers came demanding that their daughters not be allowed to visit Azaren.

"They come to us on their own, no one calls them. Our city is very large, we cannot constantly monitor visitors, they went through the gardens into the houses of our citizens," Kamily answered, sitting impressively on a throne in the reception hall of the palace. "You should bring up your daughters better, lock them up and make them miserable again."

But no one could stop the girls, they ran away from their homes and from being locked up in the hope of finding fairy-tale love. Rumors about the beauty and magic of syrinxes drove women crazy, and no distance or obstacles prevented them from reaching Azaren.

Previously, everyone was intimidated by scary fairy tales about cruel rapist monsters devouring vitality, but it turned out that syrinxes are kind family wizards who love children and adore women.

Soon, almost every syrinx found a girlfriend and was preparing to become a father. Love and happiness covered Azaren, and people had to come to terms with this fate, seeing their daughters well settled in the cozy and beautiful homes of these loving winged creatures. Nobody liked that these women's lives would be short, but it would be beautiful and pleasant.

After these fleeting events, Selestra was safely delivered of a beautiful baby with wings named Virens. She was pleased that the child's father helped her in everything.

"It's interesting that the baby looks like you," Lariel noted. "The eyes are blue, and the hairs are silver, not purple, as you dreamed."

"Next time it will work."

"No, Selestra," the syrinx shook his head. "Your next chosen one will not allow me to sleep with you. Only one child per man."

"It's a pity. Am I supposed to choose another guy?"

"Yes. How is your relationship with Imarinis?"

"Well... He hopes to become a father."

"Look, if you wait to make a choice, someone else will stretch out their paws to you."

"Who do you mean?" Selestra tensed.

"Officers or Palien."

"Don't they have anything to do?"

"You're a delicacy for them, they won't miss the chance. Reject them and make my cousin happy. He's still in love with you."

"Doesn't he have a boyfriend?"

"Of course he have! None of us are alone, Selestra. Do not be under the illusion that syrinxes are looking for unearthly love only with women."

"Who is your boyfriend? I've never seen you with anyone."

"So, nobody!" Lariel joked, stroking the baby in the crib.

Palien could not miss the birth of his desired twins, although he had never been present at such an event before; such trifles as baby delivery did not bother him at all. But in the event of the birth of children from the Goddess, he simply must be next to the woman in labor. He decided that at such an intimate moment no one else should be nearby and tried to surround Kamily only with his attention.

"Why don't you let Lariel in, he's a wonderful healer," the Queen complained, suffering from pain. "Are you kidding me?"

"He is also a healer!" Palien said with annoyance. "Okay, let him come for a while."

He hated that there was so much talents in one young syrinx.

Lariel immediately came and, not paying attention to Palien, rushed to help Kamily. The labor suddenly accelerated, and soon the babies were born one after another.

The winged boy and girl were striking not so much because they were adorable, but their bodies emitted a faint bluish glow, which led everyone into a stupor - no one had ever seen such a thing before.

Palien could not hide his admiration, admiring his blond, green-eyed babies, affectionately stroking their cute heads.
