Song Yun woke up to the smell of medicine. He wrinkled his nose in distaste and sat up from the bed he was currently in.

"Didn't I die?" Song Yun whispered with a confused expression.

His expression turned icy cold.

"Fuck! I can't believe Hao Yu betrayed me! And that bastard Fan Zhan what a fool! I can't believe he was so stupid that he kill me, his only general! I hope the Zen Empire gets invaded by the other two Empires." Song Yun stated darkly.

He clenched his fist in anger. Since he was still alive, he wanted to take revenge on Hao Yu and Fan Zhan.

Before he could ponder anymore, he realized that someone else was in the room with him. A man was sitting down in a red chair in the corner of the room. Song Yun's loud voice woke the man.

"Duke Winter! You're awake!" A man exclaimed with an excited expression.

Song Yun was stunned.

'Why did the man just call me Duke Winter? Don't tell me...'

Song Yun threw off his black covers and rushed to the mirror to see his reflection.

Silver hair, aqua blue eyes...

Although he only saw a picture of the man once, Song Yun realized that he transmigrated into the body of Duke Cassius Winter from the Lumina Empire.

"Your Grace! Please be careful! Your heart stopped beating for 4 minutes before I managed to save you!" The man, who Song Yun is assuming to be a doctor, yelled.

Hearing this, Song Yun realized that when Fan Zhan killed him, his soul must have gone into Cassius's body. To elaborate, when Cassius's heart stopped beating for 4 minutes, the original Cassius died leaving nothing but an empty body. Since Song Yun was in need of a body, his soul somehow went into Cassius's body.

The Doctor ushered Song Yun to sit back down in the bed before taking his pulse.

The Doctor sighed and said sadly, "Your illness is getting worse. I'm giving you some new medication before I leave."

The Doctor then proceeded to give him some purple pills and left.

Looking at the pill bottle, his heart was struck with pain. He gripped his shirt as he gasped for breath. Flashes of memories flashed by. Memories that belonged to the original host.

After the memories stopped, the pain finally ceased. After receiving the memories from the previous owner, Cassius now added those four stupid men to his revenge list.

He would get revenge for both his past self and the original owner. To do so, he must go to where all fun is located, the Capital.

If he remembers correctly, there seems to be a royal ball happening sometime within the next month. At the royal ball, nobility and royalty from all three Empires will attend. The Royal Ball lasts for two weeks. As the Duke of the North, he would be required to attend. He might as well head over to the Capital earlier than planned.

He got up from bed and picked up a glass cup that was filled with water. His hand trembled from picking the glass of water up but he was determined to drink it. Just as he was about to succeed, he suddenly dropped his glass cup causing it to shatter loudly on the floor.

The four idiots rushed into his room without permission most likely because they heard the sound.

Seeing the four idiots' faces, Song Yun, now called Cassius, frowned in displeasure as he recalled the previous host memories as well as his memories.

He grew angry and agitated resulting in him beating up the Crown Prince of the Lumina Empire, Axel, and kicking them out of his estate.

Right after the four men departed, Cassius ordered his maid to dress him.

Afterwards, Cassius headed in his butler's direction.

"Tell all the staff to gather in the main hall. I have something to announce." Cassius order.

The butler bowed and walked away to complete Cassius's order.

When the staff arrived at the main hall, they were completely shocked as they stared at their Master. The Duke had a completely different aura from before and it chilled them to their bones. The Duke's usual gentle aura was gone and replaced with a dangerous aura.

'Did the Duke's illness cause his personality to suddenly change drastically?' They all couldn't help but wonder.

"I will leave for the Capital later today. I will stay at my estate in the Capital, I trust that you guys will help maintain this estate." Cassius ordered with an imposing tone.
