"Young master, I'm coming in," said a young lady in a maid's uniform as she knocked on the door a few times.

The door was opened by the maid, who went to where the young master was supposed to be.

"Young master? Eh-ehhh? Where is the young master? Where has he gone to!?" she quickly panicked and accidentally caused quite a commotion until a shrill shriek sounded throughout the room.

He, who was actually taking a bath at this time, got a little startled upon hearing this voice.

"Eh? What is that voice?" he wondered.

He quickly stopped bathing and rinsed his soaked wet body with the towel prepared in the bathroom. Then, he calmly went out of the bathroom.

As he walked out, he saw a beautiful young lady who looked around the same age as him, dressed in a maid's uniform. She had silky brown hair, a great figure, and alluring green eyes that could make anyone fall at first sight.

At that moment, he felt a jolt in his heart. "She is really beautiful," he said inwardly.

Seeing him walking out of the bathroom, she instantly walked towards him. "Young master, are you alright? How long have you been inside the bathroom? When did you wake up?" she threw a lot of questions at him.

He stayed silent for a few seconds and pondered.

"If I'm not mistaken, she is called Mei Qi... and this body's previous owner was called Shu Haoyu, right?" he thought.

"Surprisingly, he had the same name as me, huh," he mumbled.

"What did you say again, young master?" Mei Qi asked.

"Oh, it's nothing. Anyways, what are you doing here, Mei Qi?" Shu asked.

According to the previous owner's memories, she's not one of his maidservants.

"I have been assigned by the Family Head to take care of you," she replied instantly.

"The Family Head...he is the father of the previous owner and the current patriarch of the clan, right?" Shu thought.

He then continued to ask, "Since when were you assigned to take care of me?"

"I've been assigned to take care of you since the first day you fell asleep," she replied with a frown on her face.

Seeing her reaction, he began to wonder if he said something wrong, and his expression became puzzled.

She then asked him, "Do you not remember anything, young master?"

Upon hearing this, he became even more puzzled, as he did not remember anything unusual with the memories he had.

"What do you mean by that?" he asked.

"It seems the young master really didn't remember anything because of his head injury," Mei Qi thought to herself.

She then began to explain to Shu about a certain incident and the cause of his head injury.

The Shu Family was currently in decline and other families took advantage of this to overthrow them and take over their place as the first pillar. However, with the birth of an extraordinary genius and talented heir, it became complicated.

That genius was Shu Haoyu, a talented and extraordinary genius of The Splitting Heaven Sect. The Shu Family was one of the families supporting the sect, along with three other families called the Zhao Family, Yao Family, and Zu Family.

In the past, the founder of The Splitting Heaven Sect took in four disciples to be his inheritors, which led to the current four families. Shu Yuxuan, who was one of the Shu Family's descendants and the first disciple of the founder, was the most talented among them.

Because of him, the Shu Family has been dominating the sect since the old times. The other disciples of the founder were called Zhao Dugu, Yao Ling, and Zu Yichen, and they were the ancestors of the other three families.

Because of the Shu Family's dominance, the other families became jealous and envious, which was the root of their problem. When the Shu Family declined, they took it as an advantage to overthrow them and take their position.

However, after Shu Haoyu was born, all their plans were ruined. They took him as a threat and decided to plot against him, which resulted in his current head injury.

Shu Haoran, who is the current patriarch of the Shu Family, expected this to happen and could do nothing but wait until the next Four Great Pillar Tournament takes place.

This tournament normally takes place once every 10 years, and the next one should be next year. The Four Great Pillar Tournament is accessible only to those who come from the four families, and it decides their family position in the sect. Obviously, the higher their family position, the better the influences they have.

Hearing all of this, Shu was silent for a few seconds. He wondered why there was some information that was actually different from the memories he obtained. "Is this related to my reincarnation or the work of someone?" He thought.

Despite thinking for a long time, he couldn't find a fixed answer to his question.

"Young Master, are you alright? Your face looks a bit pale," Mei Qi suddenly asked.

"Oh, I'm fine, it's just that my mind is a bit hazy hearing all of these things," Shu replied.

Mei Qi then inquired carefully, "Young master, don't think too much, for now, you should focus on healing and cultivating. You have been asleep for almost two weeks."

She said with a serious expression on her face before continuing, "I also brought you some medicine and herbs. You should take it, Young Master."

"No, it's alright Mei. I've already recovered."

"E-ehh? You've already recovered? But how?" She said with a shocked expression on her face.

"I don't know, it's just that I've perfectly recovered from all injuries," Shu lied with a straight face and calm voice. He didn't plan to tell anyone about his reincarnation now or in the near future.

Because there were some certain loopholes that leave his mind puzzled, he won't be telling his story before he gets his answer.

"There's no harm in letting it remain a secret, plus it would be better to remain low-key for now," he mumbled to himself.

Following this, Shu asked her about the current situation in the sect and regarding the four bloodlines.

Mei Qi looked a little bit worried, but she calmly explained to him everything that she knew as it was her duty to serve him.

After hearing everything Mei Qi had to say, he wore a complicated expression on his face as he didn't know how to respond.

Mei Qi stood quietly at the side of his bed. She quietly guessed that he didn't remember anything because of the injury he had on his head.

Little did she know that he is not the same old "Shu Haoyu" who she has been assigned to take care of. Instead, it's a different soul with the same body.

After staying silent for nearly 20 minutes, Shu finally collected all his thoughts and accepted the fact that he had to work carefully to not let his secret get exposed.

"Let's start from scratch, so my name is coincidentally Shu Haoyu. I'm the third son of Shu Haoran," Shu began to recollect all the information he obtained.

He has one brother and one sister. He and his elder brother came from the same mother, meanwhile, his elder sister came from his father's second wife, so that makes her his half-sister. Despite that, they still had a good relationship with each other.

His brother Shu Xiao is a core disciple of the sect, while his sister Shu Ningxi is an inner disciple. The sect consists of four types of disciples which go by Outer Court disciple, Inner Court disciple, Core disciple, and Prime disciple. Prime disciple is a bit special as they were trained by the sect master himself.

His father's second wife has already passed away a few years ago. Since then, he has been really close with her sister. This resulted in her sister growing really fond of him.

As for his brother, since he is a core disciple, he usually spends most of his time cultivating, so he rarely spends his time with his family.

His father, Shu Haoran, loves him and both his brother and sister very much. But as he is the Patriarch of the Shu Clan, there are a lot of things he has to do, and because of that, he rarely has spare time to spend with his children.
