Banquet

"Young master, are you still there?" a voice suddenly resounded from outside of the room.

"Eh, is that Mei's voice? Has she come back already? It wouldn't be good if she sees me in this state. I better suppress my cultivation first. After all, I've got the Soul Divine Lotus so it won't be hard," he mumbled to himself.

Shu then closed his eyes and focused on his cultivation. A few seconds later, he could feel his cultivation base dropping down rapidly.

"Oh Mei, is that you?" Shu asked.

"Yes, it's me, young master," Mei replied.

"Alright, you can come in."

The door opened and she slowly went inside.

She walked towards the direction where Shu sat, and the moment she reached, she could feel that the atmosphere was a little bit weird.

She wanted to ask, but was afraid because of their servant-master relationship.

"What do you want, Mei? Didn't I say that I've got something to do?" Shu asked, curious as to why Mei had come back so quickly.

Mei, who was curious at this time, couldn't help but show a little bit of disappointment on her face. She wanted to ask more, but she didn't dare to.

"Mmm~ Anyway, young master, I've informed everyone in the family about your awakening from the coma," she said.

"W-WAIT, YOU TOLD EVERYONE?" Shu was once again in a state of confusion as he was originally planning to keep his awakening a secret.

"Yes, I did, young master. Was I not supposed to?" Mei asked.

"Just... forget it. You have already told them. What was their reaction anyway? Did they ask something?"

"They were planning to host a banquet tonight for your awakening."

"Y-young m-master! Y-y-your clothes!" she stuttered.

Shu noticed Mei's embarrassment and was also embarrassed to be seen in such a state. Although his body was in great shape, he didn't want Mei to get the wrong idea.

He quickly ran back to the bathroom and asked Mei to bring him some clothes.

"Mei, can you please bring me some clothes?" he called out from inside the bathroom.
