ONE week after Meghan showed up, Liz decided to meet Spencer.

She looked somber, forlorn and disheveled but she swallowed that in and effortlessly opened the door without a knock. She had planned how she would say everything to him and only prayed for him to listen.

She strolled inside the parlour and a funny noise started illuminating slowly from inside the house, increasing on several intervals. She was jolted aback, because surely it was a feminine voice and the hardship Spencer had been faced with won't put him in any position to wail like this.

Anyway, she hurriedly rushed to the direction of the noise which was surprisingly their room.

"Spencer...?" Was all she could say, she didn't know how she was feeling. Mixtures of surprise, sadness, betrayal, anger and confusion twirled in her brain as she saw Spencer untop of Meghan both stark naked.

"Liz it's not what you think" Spencer simply said.

"Spen...?" Liz grew dumb.

Meghan quietly folded herself inside the duvet and squated behind the bed.

"Liz... listen... lemma explain"

"Explain what?!" Liz gained all consciousness.

"Babe--"

"Explain what Spencer?! What are you doing on our bed with Megh?!" She broke down, her blood pumping.

"I...I...see it just happened--"

Liz didn't wait for Spencer to touch her before she landed two hot slaps on both of his cheeks.

"This is not my fault!"

"How are you gonna explain yourself?!"

"You won't give me a chance. First you blame me for Josh's death and now-"

"Oh yes! You killed Josh, you murderer! Betrayal! And backstabber! And you're also laying with my sister" she ran mad.

"Yes I am! And what are you gonna do about it?!" Spencer was fed up. Liz wept, the tears stopped her from opening her mouth. Mayhap I too should end everything here and now, Spencer thought.

"You're..." Liz stopped in her tracks as she scrutinized the whole thing in her head. "How could you?!" She screamed.

"I had no choice, I had no choice Liz when you threw the blame at me for our child's death and left me all alone!"

"Did you give me a choice?!"

"How many times will I tell you that swing was a mistake?!"

"He's gone Spencer, Josh is gone!" Liz burst in tears as she said the one truth; "he's gone"she continued; "...and that doesn't give you a right to lay with my sister" Liz kept on crying, even when she hated the fact that it was in front of Spencer.

"you're the one to blame" Spencer gave up and let the clothe he used in waging his nakedness fall off freely.

Meanwhile, Meghan was busy getting dressed.

"Why my sister? Why not someone else?" Liz kept on crying. Her hair was scattered, her countenance filled up and her body soaked with both sweat and her tears.

Spencer walked away from her to the living room, he couldn't bear seeing Liz cry.

It was then Liz remembered the reason she came here in the first place and ran towards Spencer grabbing his arm.

"You know what? Why don't we just issue a divorce?!" She spat out.

Spencer was so done with this marriage, if there was no trust, what was the need for all these.

"I think that will be perfect!!" He nodded.

"Yeah?"

"Yeah!!"

"Right!"
