THE issue continued. "Trust me Spencer, you'll like this one. She'll do everything you guys are arguing about. You've gotta trust me. I'm your friend" Greg said taking away the bottle of wine from Spencer's hands.

"How well do you know this maid?" Spencer couldn't believe he said that.

"She's a family friend" Greg replied.

"Damn it Greg! I--can't"

"You're the father. You've gotta do something before it gets late" Greg advised.

"I'm trying"

"Do you want Liz to leave you?"

"No"

"Do you want her to loose hope on you?"

"Damn it Greg! No"

"Do you want her to stop loving you?"

"Why these questions Greg? You're making me scared" he stood up.

"You're not trying Spencer" Greg concluded.

"I love her Greg. I don't want to loose her".

Liz wept as she heard Spencer.

Spencer continued, saying; "I just don't want a maid for my son" he let out.

"You love her alright. Then prove it to her" Greg said, sipping his glass one last time and standing up to leave.

Spencer took the remaining bottle of vodka and drank all, then said; "when do I see this maid?"

Greg smiled and turned.

Liz was glad Spencer adhered to her decision. Everything was going smoothly again. Liz would go to work and come back seeing Joshua running to her to show her his homework; how he can read A - G or what Mona; the maid, did to him while she was away.

Spencer was happy everything was going fine. well, the maid suggestion wasn't a bad idea after all. But things weren't how they were anymore. He noticed that he didn't spend much time with Liz as they usually did before. Liz wasn't complaining but he really longed for her old self; her humours, her playful spirit, the longing for them to make hot love together, her being angry that he's leaving for school, but now, it seemed he didn't exist anymore.

As days passed on, Liz noticed the maid and the random clothes she puts on. She decided to send the maid packing before she snatched Spencer. Spencer asked why she told the maid to go away but she wouldn't let Spencer know why. Instead, she would bear the risk of leaving Joshua all alone at home. Spencer wasn't okay with the decision but to avoid further arguments, he let her be.
