LIZ stomach had started showing signs that a child was there, as it was round and shining.

Few months later, it happened.

On the 10th of January, Liz put to birth a baby boy. it was a blissful thing. For the whole of that week, Spencer had nothing but smiles on his face.

Unlike their wedding, the baby's dedication was crowded. Liz's colleagues came, Greg also came and Aunt Rachel came to celebrate with them.

Aunt Rachel was the happiest. You should see her face when she realized Liz would be bringing Joshua every weekend to stay.

Now another problem arose. The new born baby was still very tender to go to school and still couldn't be left alone as Spencer resumed school and Liz was still a weather caster.

She argued about this issue several times to Spencer but to no avail. Spencer would still be going for lectures and Liz would be at home with the boy.

After much thoughts, she decided to take the boy with her to work. It wasn't easy and each time she came back from work she'll explain to Spencer that something had to be done.

This brought about series of argument in the home. Liz was getting tired of carrying Joshua to work and Spencer refused taking him to school. It was impossible.

At a point, Liz asked for a nanny. But Spencer disagreed. He had never been taking care of by a nanny and his son would not be taking care of by a nanny.

"You're not bringing a nanny into my house" he declared.

"But what's wrong with a nanny Spencer?" Liz asked; "I can't do this, okay? I can't continue taking Joshua to work. And-- and you don't want to take him to school with you" She grew frustrated.

"Then what should I do?!" Spencer said.

"Are you asking me that question? Are you seriously asking me that?" Liz said.

"Look, Liz we're not bringing a nanny here and that's final" he said and walked away from her.

Liz fell on the floor, weeping. This wasn't what she bargained for. She continued taking Joshua with her to work and stopped nagging about what Joshua always made her go through at work. While Spencer continued going to school but this time with a guilty conscience.

In fact each time he came home, he wouldn't even look at Liz talk more of engage in a conversation with her so as to avoid seeing the bitter expression on her face.

Spencer became tired of this hide and seek game and decided to do something about it. "Liz I need to talk to you" he finally said after much practice of how he'll begin at the dining.

"Spare me Spens"

"No, it's urgent"

"I'm not interested" she meant to walk away but Spencer held her back.

"I talked to Aunt Rachel today. She was more than happy that she'd have the chance to take care of Josh. She was glad. We can take Josh there in the morning and go back to bring him home when we're back. We'll give Aunt Rachel everything she needs to take care of Josh it won't be a problem" he said.

Liz was glad. That was the perfect suggestion! How come she hadn't thought about that in the first place?

And it was done. Liz was back to working well, Spencer going to school not feeling guilty and little Joshua having fun at Aunt Rachel's place.
