Chapter 27

Once again, I felt empty.

Was this how it felt when he caught me kissing Leonard?

Was this some kind of revenge?

But I wasn't there, revenge are supposed to be witnessed.

Just why?

I couldn't believe he would want to get over me so quickly. It broke my heart over and over again.

I heard a knock on my door and seconds later Leonard entered my room. My eyes widened at him but I didn't utter a word.

I wanted to ask him what he was doing here, or yell at him to get out of my room but my lips were glued shut.

"I know I'm not supposed to be here but Clara called me, she was worried about you" I couldn't even find thw strength to be mad at Clara for doing such a thing without my permission. I just looked down at fingers entwined on my laps.

"Eva don't do this to yourself" he took a few more steps and sat by the corner of my bed. Still didn't say a thing.

"You are pregnant and even if you weren't, you shouldn't.. " he abruptly paused and that made me look up at him.
