Chapter 25

Never mind" he waved it off, "Before, I pushed everyone away from me because I couldn't promise anyone a happy future with me" my heart ached at his words. He was saving any girl the heart break that the man they loved was going to die.

"But now, I believe I hadn't found the right one" he stared straight into my eyes and I felt his eyes pierce into my soul.

What did he mean by that? Was he referring to me?

A short awkward silence passed between us.

"You don't have to be speechless or pity me, I'm fine" he assured me but I knew deep down he wasn't fine. No one would be cool and fine when they knew their time was short.

"Would you want you watch a movie with me tonight?" He asked

"Why would I want to do that?"

"Because you don't believe I watch movies"

"Well its not my fault i believed that, you so intense and void of emotion all the time"

"Fair enough" he nodded "so would you?"

"No, I'll pass, I only want to be at home after this"
