Chapter 19

One month later

Leornard never showed up after we returned from our so called vacation that didnt end well. It hit me like a blow in the chest because i thought we were getting close but then i wasn't even surprised at his actions because it wasn't the first time he did it. I didn't even get to know what happened to him that night, after a few days of thinking, I let it go. It wasnt my burden to bear.

I had amended things with Clara and everything was back to normal between us. She always brought my breakfast in bed, we ate lunch and dinner together, did exercises, went baby shopping, and every other thing.

I knew my days were numbered so I had to enjoy everything to the fullest.

It was 12 o'clock in the afternoon, Clara and I were watching 'To all the boys I love' and eating popcorn simultaneously when we heard the door bell. Clara got up to check who it was, but I already had a feeling it was Leornard. He was the only visitor we ever had.
