"Do you truly want to know?" The old Kira asked.

It was very old when judging from its looks and voice.

"We do. Just tell us what happened after the burning down.

Also, tell us about the Lechys survivors if there are any apart from the ones at the dungeon too."

Hati didn't tell the Kira that he already killed those, on purpose.

"Hmmm… There do seem to be a few other survivors of the. They also are of the same generation as me.

However, although I can't forgive them for what they've done to us, I can't give their information out." The Kira said with resolution.

"Why? I thought they brought a disaster to your village and folk." Hati asked.

"Well, they too were at fault. But, they aren't the main culprits behind the incident. You do know about the Human being attacked by one of the Lechys?"

"Yeah, we do." Yami responded this time.

"Good then. Do you also know the reason as for why the Lechys attacked them?"

"Wasn't it because the Human tried to harm the forest?" Yami asked with curiosity written over his face.

"Partly, but there was another reason too.

The human killed two Lechys before he ran away and decided to take some rest nearby. The Lechys shortly after found his position and saw him trying to burn some wood for light.

The Lechys got very angry and directly attacked him without making any preparations beforehand and only managed to injure it. That despicable Human then ran away and caused this whole mess. Any more questions?" The Kira asked a bit skeptical.

The Kira started to feel weird when he looked at Hati's eyes. It was a very strange feeling. He didn't know why or what it was, but, he couldn't help but answer with true sincerity when he looked at those eyes of his.

He had never felt something like this in his whole life.

'What the hell is going on? I can't stop answering his questions when I look at those eyes… It's like they are forcing me to say everything he wants to know…"

The Kira started to feel that something was off about Hati.

It had been a very long time since he had felt something slightly similar to the feeling he had when facing Hati.

'Wait a moment...Could it be that he has a bloodline from an ancient race? Does he have a relation with those? That would at least explain the feeling I get from those eyes. They must have some hidden power in them. But then again, how come I don't know of any ancient Wolf race that looks similar to him?'

"You really can't give the information about the Lechy's out?" Yami asked.

"Not really. Even if I wanted, I can't. I only know of where I saw two of them, and not where their new village is." The old Kira answered.

"Hmmm? New Village?" Hati asked with curiosity.

"Yeah. The Lechy's are connected to the forest as you know, right?"

"I know that." Answered Hati.

"So, as long as the forest recovers, the Lechys will start to bloom again and reproduce new cores." The old Kira told the both of them.

"Wait a moment. The Lechys have their ability to reproduce and form a new village with their numbers again, but what about the other races? Yours included." Hati was very curious about what happened with the many other animals and monsters in this forest.

" *Sigh* We all don't have such a convenient ability to increase our numbers, thus we are only able to search for female counterparts of our respective race and reproduce using the original way." The old Kira answered with a bitter taste in his mouth.

"Do the Kiras also have a new Village?" Yami asked with a bit of hope.

"Unfortunately, no. The only Kiras we have here are the old ones. We can't get any children with our age and thus cannot increase our numbers." The old Kira said with regret.

"If only we had retreated sooner…*Sigh* "

"No. The Humans were at fault in the first place, or not?" Hati inquired.

"Well, yes. But, we live in a world where the strong eat the weak. We should have retreated with our families savely." The Old Kira said defeatedly.

"Is that all that's left of the Kiras? Just some old bones with regret? Not a single ounce within you to revenge those you held dear? Not even one single bit of you wishes to get beyond your limits and revenge them?" Hati said with a strong and captivating voice.

"I do. But I'm only getting older and weaker." The old Kira said with a big frown between his eyebrows.

'Does he think I didn't want to? Of course I did. It's just that I can't.'

"Then I have a plan. Gather all races you can find in this forest as soon as possible. I also need to know more about the Humans that burned this forest down." Hati said with a smug grin on his face.

"You plan to gather them all to fight against the Humans? That will be pointless. We were destroyed the last time."

"But only because you had no leader and weren't really working together while the Humans had one and were acting as a team." Hati contered.

"But not every race wants to fight and get revenge…" The old Kira said, still not believing that they could get their revenge.

"Just gather them. I will convince them." Hati said, broadening his smug grin even wider.

"Fine, give me 5 days." The old Kira said and disappeared shortly after.

"Do you really plan to go to war with the Humans?" Yami asked with worry.

"You will see once he gathers everyone."

"But he is right. We were defeated along with the others helplessly against their numbers…"

"Then we'll just need to prepare ourselves for a very big fight. Trust me, I will help them get their revenge. I cannot sit by idly when I hear something so unjust having happened to my companion." Hati's grin vanished and he said this with a very serious expression.

'I need to do research whether or not all that is true or not though. Otherwise, I would just lead to a new war without knowing shit.' Hati thought, convinced to help them if he could assure himself that he got to know the whole truth.

He would not start a war with some Humans if he wasn't sure that they did the beasts such an unjust action. But he also wouldn't sit and do nothing while he found out about Yami's past.

He then turned his back to Yami and said "You can go around and look for a place to sleep for us. I will need to do a few things now."

Yami nodded and then went around and looked for a place to sleep at.

Hati just sped forwards while following a scent and aura he caught after thinking talking to the old Kira.

The owner of the scent noticed Hati and ran away at full speed as a result.

Hati smelled the scent getting farther away and sped up to his maximum. He didn't believe that he'd be shook off.

He slowly closed in on the scent. He was very surprised since they were both already running for an hour. They almost went out of the forest in the process.

*BAMMM!!!*

Hati saw what happened to the owner of the scent since he was just about 10 metres away from it.

"Ouch, that hurt! AH, shit! I don't have the time to play like this. I need to run and report to the king."

The being was a Human.

She stumbled upon a branch and fell face first to the ground.

The female Human then turned around and saw Hati. She didn't think "that" was already this close to her as she fully concentrated on running.

'How come I didn't shake him off while I was running at full speed?! I can't sense any beastly energy coming from him. That must mean he hasn't cultivated any yet...Does that mean he is just that strong without any? Or is he just so strong that he can hide it all away?

Anyways, I need to run and report what I saw.'

She then continued to look at hati who was slowly walking towards her with wide open eyes.

She wanted to slowly walk backwards and run away but fell again.

A Lechy then appeared from behind some tree and thought 'Hopefully that fella kills that despicable Human. How dare they still get into the forest and sniff around after what they've done to it?!'

"Get out, Lechy. I can feel your presence here." Hati said loudly.

The Human then looked at the newly appearing Lechy surprised. Was that lechy the reason she fell twice? She normally wouldn't stumble unless someone very strong attacked her or someone made a trap for her.

"Well well well, I didn't expect to be found out. I wanted to help you from the shadows." The Lechy said.

"I have quite a few questions to ask you and your kin." Hati responded.

"As for you, I will need you to disappear for now." Hati spoke to the females mind.

She was shocked that the Wolf could even directly talk to the minds of others. Normally only very high leveled cultivators or beasts could do that.

"Why?" The female asked.

"Because you would become a hindrance by telling others about me." Hat responded with a ruthless face.

He would kill those that will try to harm those he doesn't want to be harmed and spare the ones he wants to. But this Human could tell others that he, a strange new being, appeared in the forest. Maybe the Humans would try to attack him and hunt him down. And if they were defeated for a few times the same mistake would just happen again.

Thus, he decided to kill the Human.

"Sorry, nothing against you but you may bring harm to us."

Hati shortly after created his mist and surrounded the female.

He didn't want to drag the fight out and just killed her by biting her neck off. It was the fastest method he knew to kill someone. He bit through her neck and the Head was severed from the rest of the body.

The Lechy was surprised that the Wolf ended the fight so quickly and was amused by the Human dying by having her head bitten off.

"Now, I do hope that we'll be able to talk in peace." Hati said with a bloodied face.

"Sure. Do you want to come to the Village?" The Lechy said with a wry smile. By the time he looked at Hatis eyes he could see that he'd be killed if said otherwise.

"Then that's good. Let me finish eating her fast then." Hati said while digging in.

He found a few things out by having eaten the female. One was that she was one of the knights of a country called Calbia. She was one of the Kings personal knights and was the scout of the knights order there. She was sent to scout out how things were going in the forest and if they needed to to something again.

He also found out about the Human country's strength and thought that if the beasts were as strong as he had in mind, it would all work out.

Hati was worried now. If those other Humans wouldn't hear any news from the one he killed they would surely send troops to investigate what happened. If that happened, he wouldn't have the time to prepare for the unification of all the beasts in this forest and wouldn't be able to fight against the Humans properly.

The only good thing was that the female was sent out just today and had 4 days time to report back to the King.

Hati decided to hasten the process of gathering everyone.

He still wasn't sure what to do with the civilians during the war or what to do with them after they won the war against the Humans. He knew that Not every Human was despicable since he already met a kind one.

He decided to think about that when he meets with the old Kira and the Lechys.

"Change of plans. You will need to gather everyone you can as fast as you can at the place I came from. I know you were there at the time. I also know that you weren't alone. I just let you be since I didn't feel any hostility from you lot. I will ask my questions later, just gather as many as you can right now." Hati said with resolution.

"Ehh? You want me to help you gather troops against the Humans? Hehehe...Fine by me, I'll help!" The Lechy said happily. He wanted to slaughter the Humans for having burned down their dear forest.
