40 Chapter 40 - Adolescent Mountain Devil Gecko Lizard

Raj looked around as he found that his surroundings seemed to have some sign of crumbling. The hall was pretty run down, there were even some corners where wild plants had begun sprouting.

"How much time has passed exactly?" Raj was somewhat confused as he felt that only a scattering of time had passed since he closed his eyes.

The more he observed, the more he understood that he was unconscious for quite a few years. Although it was hard to believe, Raj's state of mind has begun to accept the mysticism of the Supreme Realm.

While he was observing the surroundings, Raj felt that there was something inside his consciousness. 

"Is this the newborn soul that is inborn from my soul?" Raj found a feeble dark black fire in the center of his consciousness.  

The newborn soul was continuously nourished by his divine consciousness.  It seems that it may take only a few days before this newborn soul can be stabilized.

"It will at most take a month before it can be reborn as a new individual. Let's see what will happen afterward," Raj was eager to discover how the soul attached itself with the preborn babies. 

It was quite an interesting thing as it can help Raj to understand how reincarnation works. 

Reincarnation was one of the topics that Raj was curious about since he was reborn in the past. With it, he can understand his own mystery.

Raj soon teleported on the surface. 

The trees around him now look bigger and sturdy compared to the last time he had seen them. There were many flowers and fruits around his ritual place. 

Raj soon tries to spread his divine sense to see the changes happen in his absence. Surprisingly the Devil Mountain has expanded 1/3rd of its previous length. Besides that, many new things have appeared. 

It seems that he somehow affected the Devil Mountain which led to this sudden development. As he was observing he noticed something that caught his eyes.

"This little bustard has grown, rather than watching over my defenseless body he is enjoying his life," he said. For some reason, a somewhat bashful expression appeared on his face.

On the small mountain valley, there was a pair of a beautiful girl and a two feet black lizard. The black lizard looks majestic with his golden huge antlers and fully grown wing.

While the girl appeared to be at the age of 13 or 14 years old. However, she seems to be surrounded by a fog of mystery. 

Suddenly a panicked expression appeared on the Black lizard's face. It seems to sense the majestic power that he was always afraid of.

"Blacky what happens? Did you sense something?" Clara said worriedly as it was the first time in decades she noticed the black lizard behaving like this.

Immediately Clara chanted a few silent words and then shortly an invisible wave of energy spread around the surroundings and began searching for the abnormality around them.

'Weird, no one is there, but why Blacky is feeling uneasy? Is it possible that Lord Eklavya has come out from seclusion?' Clara began to think.

Chii! Chii!

The black lizard suddenly unfolded his wings and began to fly in a particular direction as if he had found something.

Although he was somewhat worried about something, there was a tinge of excitement and joy on his face. The black wings pushed the air and accelerated the speed of the black lizard to a huge degree.

On his back, Clara was following him with the help of some weird trick that connected her to the Black Lizard.

"Why the appearance and age of this girl didn't change even after a decade? Is she using some magic?" Raj was bewildered as he noticed both of them moving towards him.

Magic was something that Raj was always interested in. But because of some reason, he decided to first check if the magic of this world can be also used in the real world. He didn't want to learn fictional magic and spell for nothing.

However, every time Raj saw anything related to the magic, his eyes always anticipated with hope and excitement. 

Soon black lizard reached just a few meters away from Raj, his eyes glittering with a unique glow. 

Raj focuses his mind on the Black lizard and immediately a screen materializes in front of him.

Raj stared at the status screen for a brief second, many things have changed and some new terms have appeared. 

Previously he was not able to see the bloodline origins of the Black Lizard due to some reasons. He never thought that the origins of this lazy lizard would be this shocking. 

One of the things Raj notices is that his potential has reduced after he has advanced to the adolescent stage. It appears that after each advancement, the potential might restart to zero.

Nevertheless, Raj was happy with its progress. 

'As expected of my mount.'

Before Raj could think anything more, a slightly big body jumped into his arms. The black lizard was happy after seeing his master after a decade. He proceeded to lick at Raj's face before it was stopped by Raj.

"You have become bold…"

Lizu moved down his head as if he was afraid of retaliation. At this moment, many old memories of beating appeared in his mind.

He looked back at Clara who was hiding in her space portal, and then an embarrassed look condense on his face. 

"Hey, don't worry, I will not beat you in front of your girl," Raj looked ready to laugh but smiled widely instead.

The realization made upon seeing the black lizard's earlier reaction made Raj want to laugh and taunt him at the same time.
