187 The unexpected storm

The power coursing through me was euphoric.

Since I woke up with a thirst for blood, I found myself attracted to power and carnage. Is this what my father fought against daily? He was such a kind and patient man, and I would never imagine that he had these urges to show dominance and devour every living creature that dared to get close.

With Duke and familiar faces around, I was holding back, but these were demons and people who were after my life, and I didn't see a single reason why I should spare them.

By killing them, I would do them a favor by ending their miserable lives. Surely, the world will be a better place without these greedy bastards that believe how power rules and their despicable actions were justified. Well, they were not wrong. Power rules. Unfortunately for them, they messed with the wrong person.
