145 The first day of the rest of their lives

I woke up due to violent shaking.

I couldn't move, but my whole body was bouncing.

There was muffled noise all around me and I was unable to see a thing no matter how much I tried. A fluffy fabric covered my face, actually… there was a fluffy fabric all around me. Was I about to suffocate? Did Duke turn into his wolf form and was sleeping on top of me? But what would explain the shaking?

'Duke? Someone? Anyone!? HELP! HELP!', I yelled, but the only thing I heard was, "WAAAH! WAAAAH!"

A cry of an infant.  What the heck was going on?

"Shhh. Shhh…", someone was shushing the child with urgency. "Be quiet Celia." It was a breathy female voice.

"Bastards! The guards are not here. We have a mole! Hurry to the next tower while I distract them.", a male voice said, and then a fierce growl shook the space.
