"Abilities…", Lazarus murmured while his eyes roamed the body of what seemed to be a preteen girl. "You are saying that other than those teeth and nails, she could have some powers as well?"

"At this point, I'm just guessing. I will know more after I examine her." I gestured at the car whose door was busted open and I asked Duke, "Is that where you found her?"

Duke nodded.

I found that concerning. "A girl was sitting in the back of a car while a transaction involving human hearts was happening.", I mumbled, mostly to myself. "It seems that she was important. Maybe in charge of this." If she was not relevant, or a sheltered child, they wouldn't bring her here.
