A challenge or bullying (2)

Author's note: this is from Zoe's point of view

Mateo was royally pissed that we found ourselves in this situation. His pride of an Alpha was being trampled on by kids he adopted. I knew that Serina was the softer of the two, but she was silent, which told me this was serious.

Mateo forced Bia to shift into her human form, and seeing her stuck to the ground was awesome. It reminded me of the scene where Serina held Bia stuck to a wall. That was one of my favorite memories with Serina; she was like a Goddess of vengeance, ready to punish our bullies, and Mateo was now doing the same.

I couldn't believe that Bia said how we were too young and weak to run with the Alpha. What the hell was she thinking? Was she challenging our positions? What was her plan? Did she want to go to Notte Pharmaceuticals and work as Serina's assistant? Or did she hope to be adopted by Mateo and Serina?
