In the car cabin, the atmosphere fell silent again. Lafien sat facing outside, her mind filled with thoughts, while Lathel and Charlotte looked at the surrounding streets.

After a while, Lafien couldn't contain her thoughts anymore as she asked: "Do we really have to dress this extravagantly? We are even riding in a luxurious carriage, this will make people pay attention to us."

Hearing that, Lathel glanced at Lafien: "Are you worried that people will see that we are half-vampires?"
