An unknown feeling materialized in my heart as I continued to, now openly and obviously invested in their conversation I watched Lisa and Aahil chat–talk about me.
It wasn't long after Aahil and Lisa talked a little about me that his friends returned, including Rick bringing a ghost of a smile on my face.
They as I noticed later on brought takeout food and shared it with everyone including myself and Lisa.
Lisa was aware of how very uncomfortable I find it eating before people not to talk of a lot of people that were entirely men save for myself and Lisa.
She'd asked for ours to remain packed as we'd eat it once we're home and they all seemed to not have minded acting like they hadn't actually put out that idea when they offered us food, more like they'd expected the response.
If it was left to me I probably wouldn't have accepted the food whether I get to take it home or not.
