Opposite emotion are generally used to fight against monsters but true pure emotions can fight all types like love or hope. As such thoe the opposite can be true as well. This is why mages focus on multiple emotions to fight these beasts but like to the mages some monster can be born of multiple negative emotions as well. This is the endless fight for these mages not to fall into dark or shadow magic. These mages almost never can be set free for the darkness because they can change to become like unto the monsters.
