6 Chapter 6 : Festival Eve

A man looks out of a building window, drinking a little, while looking at the city. Another comes close to him.

(Man) - Sir, we started preparing for action.

(Chief) - Very well. I want it as soon as possible. Soon this whole country will be mine.

(Man) - Of course, sir.

His boss laughed, taking another drink.

The weeks passed , Jake trained the physical part with his uncle. He realized that the support group was not concerned with the festival, as they gave the news that it would be optional for classes that are not heroes to participate. They said there will be an exhibition outside for companies to take a look at the equipment made by the students. The only ones who gave the name were Greg and Jake.

They were both having lunch when Drake sat up abruptly.

(Drake) - Did you hear?

(Greg) - What? he asked without taking his attention off the book.

(Drake) - Class 1-A in Japan was attacked by villains during an exercise. But they beat them up, held on until All Might arrived.

(Greg) - What a shit. What did these villains have in mind? Attacking a university full of heroes, in addition, has All Might as a professor.

(Drake) - I think they will be quiet so they never do shit again. - Said holding the phone in his pocket.

(Jake) - But we can't take credit from the gang. They seem to be very strong. I hope to meet them someday.

The two weeks passed, Jake sat on the couch. He was home alone, his uncle was on a mission. He took the computer and put it where Japan's sports festival was taking place. It had the opening ceremony. And the representative of class 1-A, said something that made everyone angry. Jake didn't understand, he just laughed.

They drew the first race. It was going to be an obstacle race. So they gave up. Endeavor's son Todoroki took the lead. Just behind the shit-talking representative, blowing up his hands. Jake watched closely. Soon they are stopped by robots. Jake watched a little, but ran out of patience, he decided to return only in the fights. But something caught the eye, a boy with a metal plate, blowing up the floor and winning the race. He looked more scared than happy.

(Jake) - Idiot. You have to be happy. - got up and went out to buy dinner.

When he returned, he made dinner. He had no patience to watch the rest. But he saw the replay of the fights. Being impressed by the boy who broke up and with whom he won the festival, the representative who spoke shit. He kept screaming, even with the presence of All Might, he kept screaming.

(Jake) - Clown. - commented while watching.

A week passed. It was the eve of the American festival. Jake was running with Drake and Greg.

(Drake) - Do you know? Tomorrow is the festival. Our chance to shine.

(Greg) - I am nervous. - commented drinking some water from the bottle. - And you Jake?

(Jake) - I don't know, whatever.

(Greg) - It doesn't come with anything! Heroes will be

Jake for a moment stops listening.

"(Jake) - It's tomorrow. My chance to prove that I am capable?- That's what I thought while staring at the sky. - But what if I hurt someone?"

His happiness was gone for a moment. He looked at his friends. They were excited. He looked at the sun again, putting his fist up.

(Jake) - Let's do our best.

(Greg) - Of course.

(Drake) - We will detonate.

Jake smiled at his friends. Continuing to run.
