It was just Thursday but Kate had gradually begun to look forward to the day she'd be let go from work.

She'd been taken for questioning after the incident with Josh's disappearance. 'That wench of a woman McNaught had the audacity to slap me'. She felt her blood boil whenever the thought came across her mind.

Her father had arrived some minutes later at the scene alongside Mr. McNaught who held his sorry excuse of a wife back.

The number of accusations and criticism she'd received from the internet after someone from the hospital had spread the news was frustrating. Most ignorant people were now suspecting her of being the mastermind behind Josh's mental illness saying she'd set it all up in order to rush to his side and play the hero.
