chapter Nine : leaving

After his final examinations were done Edward started making preparations for his study abroad.

one day at Angelica's home

" Edward we are really going to miss you " Angelica said sadly she wished he didn't have to go.

" True, I really wish you could just stay here with us " prissy added.

" I would have loved to but as you girls know, it's impossible, as my parents have made up their minds and the registrations have been done, so as you can see I have no choice " Edward Replied.

" I don't understand why did you have to study in abroad when you can just study here? " little prissy asked curious.

" you see prissy, it's because of the course am going for, my parents believed that it's better I study abroad so I could gain more knowledge and experience than I can here " Edward explained.

" oh! which course is it? " she asked.

" Neurosurgery " Angelica Answered.

" You are right Angelica, but don't worry I will try always get in touch with you guys from time to time alright? " He consoled.

" You better do or else we'll sue you! " Prissy joked and they all laughed.

" The most important thing is that you guys take care of yourselves, which am sure you could do by now or do I have to babysit for a few more years? " Edward joked, and the girls glared at him.

" when are you leaving? " Angelica asked.

" in a Month's time at most " he asked.

" Oh! that's so soon " They complained.

" Hmmmmn that's true but I have no choice, the university is resuming in 6wks time and so I have to leave early so I can settle down before resumption. " He replied.

" We'll miss you greatly " They said.

" Same here " he said as they all embraced.

After the Hugging Section little Prissy spoke up.

" Guys I've got a suggestion " she said.

" what is it? " they asked.

" He's leaving in a Month's time right? so why don't we explore this city together during our free time till he goes no? " she said.

" that's a pretty good idea, I never knew that you were so smart little one. " Edward said.

" same here " Prissy said.

" we are not yet on our holidays guys " Angelica reminded.

" Dumbo, we are vacating in two weeks time so we've got a whole two weeks to explore. " Prissy said.

" Oh! that's true " Angelica replied.

" so it's decided then " Edward said.

" can I tag along too? " little prissy asked.

" of course you can little one " Edward replied.

" Yay!!!!!! " She exclaimed excitedly

After they vacated the trio and little prissy explored the city, they went to museums, Zoo's , beaches and so on they even went to shopping malls to get snacks and chocolates.

while they were shopping one day.

Angelica excused herself and went to the bathroom, while she was washing her hands she heard a voice which sounds familiar.

" look who's here, it's the great Angelica " Rose said Sarcastically.

" What are you doing here Rose? " Angelica asked.

" why? can't I come to shop again? or do I have to ask for your permission? " Rose asked.

" That's not what I meant! I was wondering why you have to be here in this place as the same time as me, isn't it too much of a coincidence? Angelica Reasoned.

" You are smart! it's true it's not a coincidence I intentionally followed you here on purpose " Rose answered.

" Why, have I offended you " Angelica asked impatiently.

" Of course you have, considering the fact that you stole my boyfriend makes you my enemy " Rose replied.

" which boyfriend did I still from you " Angelica asked curious

" you still have the guts to deny, don't you have any shame? " Rose asked Annoyed.

" Shame? why would I have any when I haven't done anything appropriate " Angelica stated.

" You Stole Edward for me " Rose blurted out.

" Edward? " Angelica couldn't help but laugh.

" yes! you stole him from me! " she declared.

" last time I heard Edward didn't have a girlfriend or did he? " Angelica mocked.

" what do you mean by that? " Rose asked angrily.

" What I meant is that Edward didn't have a girlfriend and so if he doesn't have one then why do you call yourself his" Angelica asked Sarcastically.

" I liked him " Rose admitted.

" And, did you tell him that? " Angelica asked.

" No! I never got the chance to as you guys are always clinging to him! " Rose complained.

" Oh! so because of this you are now blaming me for snatching him from you? " She asked.

" yes " Rose admitted.

" Really? senior Rose I guess you should really check your dictionary for the meaning of boyfriend as am sure that you definition is invalid! " Angelica said.

" you.... what do you mean by that " She asked.

" Nothing, or did I say anything? " Angelica asked sarcastically.

" You'll pay for this Angelica! " Rose said Angrily.

" Why would I when I didn't do anything? " Angelica Reasoned.

" you just insulted me " Rose exclaimed.

Speechless Angelica walked away.

she hadn't gone to far when she heard a loud bang on her head which made her lose her consciousness.

the culprit was Rose

After Angelica walked out on her , she was so Angry that she ran after her and when she was close enough she banged her heels on Angelica's head from the back realising what she had done, she wanted to flee but was restrained by the mall guards who saw what she had done on the CCTV.

Immediately Angelica lost consciousness Edward who had been worried about her saw her he quickly ran towards her when he realized that she was about falling, he caught her in time before she hit the floor.

Seeing that she had lost consciousness he was scared and worried, he wondered what happened to her, how did she fall unconscious suddenly, just then he saw the fresh wound on her head, he was about to ask who did this when a guard walked up to him with Rose who was restrained.

" Sir this lady is the culprit" The guard said pointing to Rose.

looking at Rose, Edward could already deduce what happened.

feeling his gaze on her, Rose gulped she was so scared.

" Hand her over to the authorities " Edward said to the guard and left.

" yes sir " the guard replied, dragging Rose away.

After Edward got to the rest they were shocked to find the unconscious Angelica in his arms , before they could ask any questions he told them that they had to get to the hospital soon.

Rose was taken to the police station and was detained and granted no bail, she was charged with Attempted murder.

Due to the force at which she was hit and shock, Angelica woke up Hours later and when she was told Everything she was Surprised and Annoyed at the same time, she couldn't believe that Rose would do such a thing as this!

Edward Apologised to Angelica's parents as he believed that all this happened because of him but they didn't blame him as it wasn't.

Angelica was discharged later on with a bandage wrapped around her head.
