1 Chapter 1 - Work Day

Ok so I am Danielle Wise though I go by Dani with my friends, I am a student Nurse just completing my second year of the course. I live in a small town in England where we are surrounded by countryside where I enjoy going for walks after a long shift in placement so that I can think things through and reflect on my day. Let's start with the story of how I met Jake now I will start a couple of days beforehand.

I woke up to the sound of music running through my ears. I looked at my phone for the time ugh it was 5:30 am time to get up and have a shower my housemate still fast asleep in bed. I know its early, but I have to be at work for 7 for my shift and first I have to drive to get there. After a nice refreshing shower to wake me up I got dressed into my uniform a grey tunic with black trousers. Then it was time to collect my bag which was packed last night and put my lunch in it which I'd made last night then looking at the clock its 6:15 time to get in the car and head to the hospital.

Once I had arrived at the hospital I got out of the car and made my way to the entrance though I'm sure I saw something at the side of the car park in the trees but when I looked over again there was nothing. So, I just headed into the hospital and jumped in the lift ready for my shift for the day.

After my long shift I came out of the hospital, it had been a really long day we had lost one of our patients after a fight trying to recover from a stroke. It's always a hard shift when I lose a patient. I got to my car and sat there again staring at the trees in front of me. This time I am sure I saw some movement in the trees whatever it was looked to be quite big. That quickened me up I soon turned my key and started driving out of the car park looking over my shoulder it was dark now so I couldn't see much as it is. When I finally got home I was a bit freaked out I still felt like there was something watching me from the trees so I ran up to the house ready to take a shower and have something to eat after the 13hours spent in the hospital. I decided not to go for my walk tonight with worrying about what was in the woods. I ate my meal, some nachos tonight just something quick to make as it seems my housemate is out as the door was locked when I got here. So, I sat in front of the TV watching some New Girl as I ate my Nachos soon getting tired with it being nearly 9pm already after taking a shower when I got in. I was soon heading to bed to get some sleep for tomorrows shift.

When I was in bed I seemed to be tossing and turning forever just thinking about what was in the woods and what was going on I'd seen whatever it was twice today. Though I'd soon worn myself out and found my eyes dropping and soon blackness took over and I was asleep.
