5 Chapter 5:Goals

"Actually this two possess the king's aura" president eye narrowed and then he lay down on his seat.

"I see hm it's a good news or maybe a bad news" "yes I know sir but it depends on them whether they want to be an evil or good king"

"I think Ray's gonna be ok but I don't know about Zed" "as long as Ray with him he can change Zed I think, don't you agree sir?"

"Hm alright then,if something happen I'll leave the task to Ray" they both agreed and June leave the office.

"You two can wake up now I know you were listening just now" they both open their eye slowly and smiled.

They both are in good shape already only a few hour of rest and they both fine. "So Zed I want to ask you some question" "Huh? okay what is it"

"I heard you have the king's aura, so are you planning something by using that power?" "Well yes I want to dethrone the current king of vampire."

President's eye widened after he heard that statement. He can't believe a young vampire wanted to dethrone the current king.

"My I ask, your purpose on dethroning the current king?" "Hm he is a corrupted leader until now, the reason why I got kick out from my family is him, he knows I possessed this aura so he decide to kick me by telling the elder that I'm a cursed child that can bring catastrophe to the vampire land he's a coward and don't deserve the title of king"

Zed clenched his fist and his blood is boiling as he mention the king. "I see, no one can stop the king except the one who possessed the king aura, if that's your wish then I will approve it" the president acknowledge Zed desire and he wanted to support him.

While Ray daydreaming on the couch, the president startled him "Uwah!" Ray shocked and shouted like a girl, The president hold his stomach because he can't hold his laughter anymore.

Zed only smiled, he try his best to keep his cool, "ha..haa ok enough joking you two can go home" the president seemed out of breath after laughing.

As they two leave president forgot to ask Ray's goals 'Ah I totally lost but he's shouted like a girl, I will let jack handle this matter'

He still can't stop laughing he tries to hold it by closing his mouth. The two of them currently walking on the hallway, the moon already up it sure a hard day for everyone.

"You sure surprised me Ray I didn't know you also had that aura" Zed opened up the conversation to break the silent between them.

"To be honest I don't have one but after seeing you activate it, I felt like I also can do it maybe I can imitate skill haha or it's just a fluke who knows."

Seeing Ray being so humbled, Zed can only sigh knowing that Ray wouldn't even acknowledge his own power, so he changed the topic.

"Ehem so Ray what is your goals? I'm curious about your goals" seems like Zed opened up a bit, he never opened up to anybody until he fought with Ray.

Ray has changed him subconsciously, "Oh about that I just want to find my mother that's all hehe" "Are you serious? with that power you can even become a king"

Ray can only scratches his head and grinned "actually I'm not interested in become king or whatever I just want to find my mother" he's saying it with his determined eye looking at the sky.

Zed can't believed it, a guy with a potential doesn't interested in become a king he's frowned but after looking at Ray Innocent eye he can't help it.

"Well see you tommorow Ray" "Erk did you live here?" "Ah yes I lived here" "okay then see you tommorow Zed"

After a few minute of walking Ray finally reached home, "father I'm back" "oh son, you're late today did you do something bad?" "Ah it's not that father I passed out on the training combat ground"

"hm I see okay then have you eaten yet?" "Nope I really hungry right now" Ray changed his cloth and rush to the the table.

Without any second to spare, Ray dig in the food he looks like a beast that didn't eat for a weeks. Ray stopped for a second and averted his sight to his father.

"Father I've decided to find mother" he said that with a determined eye, "But you're not ready it's dangerous out there" "Father, I'm serious and also why didn't you find mo-"

His father slam the table before Ray had finished his sentence " Be..because I'm n..not strong e...enough" his father sobbed and tears dropping on the table.

Ray shouldn't ask that question to his father "I'm sorry father I shouldn't ask that" "it's okay son Why don't you go to sleep it's already late"

Ray lied on his bed, he can't forgive his self for offending his father, then he remembered about the goals that he talked with Zed.

'Alright I change my mind my goals is to be the strongest so I can protect my family from any danger.'

The sun has rise and Ray is ready to go, he excuse his self and head towards the academy it's strange because he always late.

But today, he's not after 10 minutes of walking he finally reached the academy, "Finally, fuh" as he walked through the academy hall, a figure approaching him on the side.

"Yo, you come early today did something happened yesterday?" "Maybe it's about our fight you hit my head really hard hahaha."

They both burst laughing, Zed never laugh before he always cold maybe Ray has changed his heart. They finally reached the class.

There's Ryo already at his sit "Yo Ryo" "Oh Ray my goodness you're alright but man you always kept a secret do you" "haha okay okay I will tell you after school" "Heee really? see you then after school."

Sir jack has come and told the student to sit down because it will be a boring class from now on. It's been 30 minutes since the class started but non of the student falter they even focus 100% on the class.

"Alright class I want to ask you something what is your goals in life?" without any hesitation Ray raise his hand.

"I want to become the strongest so I can protect my family and friends and to find my mother" "that's amazing anyone else?."

This time it's Zed he explain why he want to become the vampire king, it's a heart breaking story. Some of the student even shed a tears.

"Such a grief story there anyone else?" but the he saw Ryo and ask him what are his goals "oh me I just want to adventuring with them" pointed his finger at Ray and Zed.

So the class has ended and Ryo still remembered the promise that he made with Ray. He ran in the school hallway and finally met Ray "Yo about your secret" "Ah about that it's actually"
