The Mockery
Levi's eyes began gaining their sight slowly, last thing he remembered was battling King Zar and then a blackout. When his eyes completely opened, he saw himself on what could be said as a hospital bed.
'Where the hell is this place? And where's everybody?', thought Levi, scrutinizing the white-painted room and a flower vase beside his bed. What made his day worse was a red teddy bear that spelled, [Get well soon]. However, he didn't give much attention to the paper that was beside the teddy.

Levi released a deep exhale and placed his foot on the cold ground. His red sweater seems to be the only article that was taken off his not-so-muscular body.
Atlas, he saw a letter and slid it from the cupboard, where it was kept beside a red teddy. He unseals it, only to see.
[Hi, Dad. If you're reading this, then you must have woken up. I would have gone to school before you would have gained consciousness, I'll be back, please have some rest. And do not climb the towers without me, I need to be there to gain powers at Tower number five...pretty plsss]
'I can't rest, not when humans still roam the universe, the girl slows me down', thought Levi as he walked close to the door.
Creak!
When he opened the door, he was expecting some ward or something where you see different patients or nurses. However, in this frenzy, he saw houses touching the top of the sky, precisely, there was no sky since it was underground. The sky is a rock wall.
Different stores sold different equipment, and no one even bothered to sell food. When he took another step to roam this enigma place, a familiar female's voice stopped him.
"Not so fast, handsome"
Levi's attention was taken by the girl who was walking towards him. Her curvaceous hips commanded beauty, her pink eyes had a hint of lust while looking at Levi.
'That's the woman from the tower, the bartender one', thought Levi.
"I suppose you saw the letter, she strictly said no movement, lots of rest Mr. Levi!", the bartender spoke in a rather soothing voice but with an ink of childish anger.
"I don't have time to rest, I've got someplace I have to be, before a month, or even less", commented Levi.
"What could resting for just a day possibly do? And what is this place you've gotta go, don't tell me it's the tower"
Levi felt his heart beating super fast, let's see one million beats per second, That's half of his heartbeat as a demon, but right now, looking at this beauty, that became his normal heartbeat. Back as a demon king, Levi has never touched a girl.
'She's pretty.. no Levi, father restricted me from physical contact with girls because he doesn't want to see me weak, girls make a man's heart soften, I'm out of here', thought Levi, with a serious expression stormed off, but was held back by the bartender, who connected her soft touch with Levi's palm.
"Where do you think you're going uh? Tower? not so fast, do you know how worried she was when they found you lying lifeless on the floor?"
All those words, no got in the ears of Levi's, his overall attention was on the smooth touch of the bartender.
"I have to go, I belong in the towers, and I need to get there before a month"
"Why?.. what's up there that you want?", she asked and retracted her touch from Levi's palm.
"There's a demon invasion, and I need to be there, to lead the undead troops to this world, so the humans will be extinct
The bartender couldn't stop staring at Levi, she didn't know if she should believe him or something else. The bartender took a step and began walking in the direction she was coming from.
"You can go if you wish, but there's a guild leader who wants to see you first, follow me", said Nelly with a down voice, almost disappointed.

Meanwhile...
Three men in black international suits were seated on a chair, waiting for the arrival of Nelly and the so-called hero of theirs.
They've been waiting for almost, five minutes now. And still no creak sound or opening of the door.
The one in the middle began tapping his fingers against the table in front of them, to kill time before Nelly arrived.
"Do you think they're getting intimate in there?", asked the one seated at the left.
The remaining two just gave a disapproved nod.
"What... they're two adults in one room, how long does it take to wake someone up?", commented the left.
Creak!
The door opened and Levi followed in with Nelly, but after coming in, a glance from the men told her what she needed to do, 'kindly step out.
Bam! [Door closes]
"We believe you're Mr. Levi West, the professor who chose a writing career instead and is now a tower climber", said the middle one.
They began, but Levi scrutinized and saw there were only three seats, and those seats were occupied by the men, leaving him to stand like some statue.
"Yes, that's me you've described"
The men shared a smiling glance, richotted back at Levi, and then, a contract slip materialized in front of Levi, floating and waiting for Levi to clutch it.
"We discovered you killed the Goliath scorpion with an ordinary fist and slayed a demon lizard and his followers by yourself, we would like to"

Before the middle man could finish, his offer was Short-lived when Levi rejected it." but you haven't heard me out yet"
"I don't have to, I walked in here while you three were sitting, you didn't offer me a seat and think I'll agree to anything you offered, you should learn how to treat your client next time", said Levi as he veered around to leave, but was stopped by the middle man's voice.
"Wait what? Who do you think you are", asked the middleman.
"I'm the demon king Levi, last born of the overlord of demon kings, leader of the undead troops, and evil master planner to demolish the human race"
The men looked at themselves and began laughing. But Levi only scoffed, thinking it should be a surprise anyway, no need to exaggerate himself to humans, he's been warning them anyway, but when it comes they won't know what hit them, but they'll know who hit them.
"Hahaha..this professor has packed a lot of manga inside his head.. hahaha, he called himself a demon king.. haha", said the left one.
"I know right? Evil master planner... hahaha, I wonder if anyone even read his book, more like stupid master planner", the right one chimed in, laughing menacingly.
Levi watched them laugh at him like he was out of his mind, engaging in battle could have severe consequences, especially in a feeble body.
'A wise one would use the stones thrown at him to build, in this case, I'll use their mockery as fueling rage to get to the top faster'
Creak! Baaam!
"Oh! He left, asshole. Demon king... hahaha"

When Levi stepped outside, Nelly was standing beside the door. Folding her hands behind her back. Almost like she looked extra pretty, ready for some seduction.
"Tell me you'll stay a little longer"
Levi looked at her, caressed her chin, and replied bluntly.
"I'm sorry, but I gotta go, maybe next time", Levi sighs and turned..'I can't leave room for weakness'
