' Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep , Ugh! What's that sound, why is an alarm making so much of a ruckus, someone please turn it off. ' Sung Yang Ning wakes up to find his friend munching on something, "Hey Choe-Jing, turn off your damn alarm man, I want to sleep some more."
"What are you talking about? What alarm?" He sits on his bed in shock due to the sudden appearance of a digital screen in thin air. " Hey fatty, can you see this here? " he points into the place where the screen has appeared, "See what? There's nothing there. Are you sure you didn't go stupid?" he suddenly realises the events that had happened yesterday, 'It's the system!!' "Sorry man, I'm still dreaming, it was just my imagination." he quickly recovers and tells him.
"It's ok man, it's normal to be still sleepy, and after what has happened to you, I'm still surprised you came out without a single scratch on you. The God of luck is truly with you, but if you can just get that God to turn towards your studies and exams you'll be set, am I right?" his friend jokes around with him, but Sung is still busy staring at thin air looking at the screen which has a message icon on it.
"Hey fatty how do you open or read a message in a game?" he asks his friend who love gaming and is somewhat a pro. "Why do you ask? Well anyway you first have to open your inbox to read any message you get." 'Inbox huh?' "Hey I'm going out far a walk, I'll directly go to school from there." 'Your not gonna clean yourself before heading out? Man learn some hygiene.' He rushes out to head towards a nearby park to check what was going on. He reaches the park and sits on the bench and stares at the air "Open inbox" he speaks softly.
Right as he said that a screen pops up in the air showing 'New Player Rewards' , he is a bit surprised by that sentence and says 'Accept rewards' then a voice begins to resound in his mind 'Welcome new player. You are chosen by the system as a player, due to that you are being given the following reward, you are given with five free top tier spins, to open your rewards please say spin.' The screen closes and he is left shocked. 'Spins huh? I guess it's based on my luck. So I have to depend on my luck to get a good reward, but I think my luck is definitely good because I did get the system which literally have like what one in a trillion or more chances.
"Let's give it a try then, Spin." A screen opens again showing a list with top tier, intermediatetier and low tier rows he say taps on the top tier and a wheel pops up with a needle pointing up and a spin button in the bottom, he press the spin and two options appear in front of him paid and free 'Does the system take money for the spins?' he press the free one and five slots appear on the wheel with two black slots and three gold slots.
'So two duds and three prizes huh? A three out of five rates, not bad. Wait it's three out of five for top tier, how much are the rates for intermediate and low tiers? It must be pretty bad.' he thinks to himself and press the spin and the wheel starts to spin and stops at a black slot after a few spins, 'Ugh, black on my first spin? Let's try again' he spins again but it still lands on a black slot again, he press spin again with frustration with his fists clenched and it finally lands on a gold slot, a screen appears 'Congratulations to the player on obtaining a top tier prize, the player has obtained Autobiographic Memory as the prize. Do you want to spin again?'
He remain silent for a while starting at the screen 'What am I supposed to do with an autobiographic memory, I thought I was gonna get some awesome skill like super strength or flight or laser eyes or even an ability to pick up some girls, Oh God!!! Guess can't do anything about it, let's try again' he spins again and gets another black slot, he hits the screen with his fist again and the screen glitches for a bit and turns into a gold slot. 'Oh no, did I break it or something?' then a message appeared 'Congratulations to the player on obtaining a top tier prize, the player has obtained a pupil skill, the name of the skill is The eye of Perception, Do you want to spin again?' he gets a bit happy on seeing this message 'I think I have an idea about this skill, let's roll the last spin first' he spins and gets a black slot 'I didn't have much hope after two gold slots back to back.'
