Monster Carrot

Kalan took a nap after leaving Mt. Frypan, since it would take them some time to drive to Mushroom Town. He only joined their adventure because he wanted to experience the events in person, thus he did not try to deviate it too much. After all, he simply needed a few minutes to gather all the dragon balls. Since he were here to sightsee, he naturally let Goku take care of all the fights when possible. It wasn't even fun for him to pretend to be weak and fight with these weaklings anyway.

By the time he woke up, he could hear gun shots. He could see Goku beat up 2 soldiers wearing rabbit ear headband.

"So we've finally arrived in Mushroom Town." Kalan felt bored by the long trip and took a nap. Now he saw a town filled with mushroom trees. In fact the outskirt was also filled with mushroom like trees.

"I'm curious about Monster Carrot's magic touch. He can transform 'anybody' he touches into a carrot. But I doubt it is as strong ans Buu's transforming beam. Let's see if I can resist it... I should. Otherwise wouldn't strong people like Frieza be a joke in front of a rabbit man like him?" Kalan thought curiously and decided to shake hands with Monster Carrot and see if he could resist. He was confident he was, and even if he failed. He believed the system would fix the trouble for him.

Goku easily avoided the bullets and beat up the 2 men from the Rabbit Gang. After awhile their boss, Monster Carrot arrived.

A white rabbit car drove nearby. Monster Carrot alighted the car and calmly out with his hands behind his back. He was a humanoid Rabbit with long ears, white fur and wearing a pair of sunglasses.

"Boss!" The soldiers shouted and ran up to Monster Carrot.

"Stop shouting in such pathetic voices. Where is the one who went against the Rabbit gang?" Monster Carrot calmly asked.

Kalan's group laughed at the comical looking rabbit man.

Monster Carrot somersaulted many meters and landed in front of them.

"Let's shake hands." He said.

"What a weirdo..." Oolong in the driver's seat commented.

"Hmph! Who would want to shake hands with you?" Bulma snorted and slapped away his hands.

"Hehehe, but you touched me..." Monster Carrot smirked.

*Poof* Bulma turned into a carrot and Monster Carrot grabbed it.

"Uwaaah!! You turned Bulma into a carrot!" Goku shouted shocked.

"You monster!" Goku shouted angrily and went up to the rabbit man.

"Ha! You plan to attack me? That's fine. Because if you touch me, you'll turn into a carrot too!" Monster Carrot said smugly.

"Grr... He's right..." Goku said fumingly.

"Goku use your staff! Then you don't have to touch him!" Oolong hurriedly pointed at the power pole on Goku's back.

"Oh right!" Goku pulled out his power pole and began waving it at the rabbit man.

"Uwah! Wait a minute! if you move I'll eat this carrot!" The rabbit man threatened to kill Bulma.

"That's dirty!" Goku said and gnashed his teeth.

"Well... I'm kinda curious-" Kalan stepped out the car and took a few steps while talking when he suddenly heard the car engine start.

*Vroom Vroom* Oolong drove away the car.

"Goodbye! This has nothing to do with me!" Oolong shouted from the distance while driving as fast as he could.

"That selfish pig! He ran away again." Goku stared angrily at the disappearing Oolong.

"Well, as I was saying. I'm curious about your carrot magic. Let me touch you." Kalan ignored Oolong's escape and calmly walked forward to face the rabbit man face to face.

"Kalan no! Don't touch him!!" Goku hurriedly shouted out.

"Hahaha, a fool brought himself to me!" The rabbit man and his gang laughed out.

"Come let's shake hands." Kalan ignored and said. He put his right hand in front.

*Slap* Right as Monster Carrot was about to shake hands with Kalan, Kalan's hand suddenly moved and slapped the rabbit man on his face. His sunglasses fell off.

"Oops. I'm sorry I missed." Kalan mockingly apologized.

"System nothing happened?" Kalan asked in his mind curiously, seeing how he did not feel anything after touching the rabbit man.

[Beep! Target's ability is merely a low rank pseudo-transformation ability. Anyone over 100 in battle power will not be affected while those over 70 can use their Ki to resist.]

"Eh... such a trashy ability..." Kalan disdained the rabbit man's ability and shook his head.

"Hmph, although you slapped me. You still touch me! Hehehe... Wait till I eat you. Hmph, hmph." The rabbit man said angrily and laughed.

*Slap Slap Slap* Kalan continued slapping the rabbit man in amusement.

"Aaah!" The rabbit man shouted in pain. His face had already swollen up into a ball.

"Y-You! How can you be fine!?! Impossible!" Monster Carrot stared at Kalan in disbelief.

"Well... Your ability is too weak. There are more people strong enough to resist your ability." Kalan calmly said.

"Kalan does that mean I can also resist his ability?" Goku asked curiously.

"No, but if you reach anywhere near the Turtle Hermit old man's power, you will be able to." Kalan said.

"You! Don't you dare do anything! Unless you don't care about your female companion's life anymore! I'll eat her!" Monster Carrot took a few steps back in fear and threatened.

"You mean her?" Kalan held up the carrot he had stolen when he slapped the rabbit man.

"Oh sh*t!" The rabbit man knew he was screwed.

Kalan was too lazy to actually beat up the trio from the Rabbit gang and let Goku do it.

"That means anyone close to Master Roshi in power is able to resist Monster Carrot's Carrot transformation ability... Wait! Then doesn't that mean Kalan is close to Master Roshi in power!?!" Yamcha who was tailing the group overheard their conversation and was shocked.

"Turn Bulma back and I'll spare your life." Goku said.

"Really? I understand!" The rabbit man hurriedly clapped his hands.

*Poof* The carrot in Kalan's hand turned back into Bulma.

"Ah? Kalan? What happened to me...?" The first thing Bulma saw was Kalan's face. She asked as she looked around confused.

"The rabbit man can turn anyone who touches him into a carrot. Kalan saved you." Goku said honestly.

"Is that so? Thank you, Kalan." Bulma looked shyly at Kalan.

"Don't worry about it." Kalan smiled.

Seeing Bulma fine, Goku tied up the trio from Rabbit gang and sent them up to the moon with his Power Pole.

"How can they even breathe in space..." Kalan thought curiously. Goku would not leave them on the moon if they started suffocating, which means they could somehow 'breathe' on the moon.
