Chapter 2.2

The town of Sigurd could be found on the outskirts of the Blizzard Kingdom. The town specialized in mining minerals for the military and architectural needs.

But one day the little town stopped producing ores. The king was confused. A town, guarded by hundreds of warriors wouldn't just magically run out of minable ore... At first the King thought it was a revolt, but they had nothing to revolt for, the warriors made it that way. Then he thought that magical beasts attacked the town and decimated it.

Two days later. Not a single corpse was found, no sign of a struggle. He was at a loss. With nothing to go on he left the case unsolved.

Soon the mystery disappearance would be know as "the start the Geneside".

Somewhere on the road to the capital, Glas.

"Sir was it alright to do that!?!? There were children, the elderly and women in that town, they wouldn't be able to harm you in any way at all." Thinking back, when Yfir and Omorfia arrived, Yfir had a cold look to him. In an instant the town disappeared from existence. He didn't even chant anything only uttering the word begone, his anger controlled his power, and it, following his will, decimated the town.

"What I did, is explainable, it's like how you would feel if you stepped on ants crawling beneath you feet, nothing, you don't care if they can or can't, it just doesn't matter anyways." The look in his eyes were terrifying, like staring into an empty void. Sucking your life force, making you buckle to you knees. Sweat trickled down Omorfias back. Yet in an instant it disappeared, as if it was never there in the first.

"Come on let's go, the capital awaits." Looking at him, walking slowly away, you could practically felt he sadness he emitted, the anguish he felt during his betrayal, yet it became harder to breath, the pressure bringing forth the animalistic fear all humans had. Knowing that who ever faced him, she knew, would meet their end right there.

Arriving at Blizzard Kingdom's capital city, Glas. One would stand dazed, at the sigh of such a structural magnificence. The walls glowing like crystalline almost reaching the cloud above, yet the city stood taller. Warriors, merchants and regular people walked back and forth through massive gate, imbroided with gold and platinum, it showed the wealth the city accumulated. Glas was suited for its name, the whole city seemed to glow like light refracted by ice. Rugged and unorthodox the city stood tall and unwavering, not expecting its destruction in the future.

1 year later.

A dark shadow looms over this beautiful yet ignorant city.
