Sakura brought Naruto and Sasuke who were both unconscious into the middle of a lot of trees where most people wouldn't think they were there and applied fuinjutsu in the 5 trees as pillars.
Although unskilled, she made a 5 layered sealing formation like she saw what Naruto did in the land of waves at Tazuna's house.
She applied alarm seals, trap seals, explosive seals, barrier seals, and illusion seals.
Alarm seal in the first layer, illusion seals in the second layer, explosive barrier seal in the third layer that will explode after it is broken. Another layer of trap seals in the fourth layer, and lastly a c-rank barrier seal at the 5th layer.
This fuinjutsu formation almost consumed all of her chakra and hoped that no enemies would come their way for the time being.
30+ hours later…
Sakura was about to pass out from the fatigue as she hasn't slept for days. She was glad that no ninja came their way in the past 30 hours.
She was still vigilant despite not having slept for 30 hours and more because even before the exam started, she was already awake.
Her chakra has been replenished by the course of time but her fatigue that came along with waking hours hasn't.
Beep! Beep! Beep!
The alarm seals sounded and Sakura looked at the intruders.
3 ninjas with a hidden sound forehead protector approached their way.
'Hidden sound ninjas?' Sakura thought and held the explosive tags she made in her spare time before the chuunin exam.
She made 10 in total in the time before the chuunin exam. It was all that she could make with the chakra quantity.
The hidden sound ninja was already through the illusion barrier "Another barrier? What a troublesome team. No matter… In any case, wake up Uchiha Sasuke. We wanna fight him."
Sakura smiled and replied "I'm sorry but, I alone am enough to deal with you."
"What did you just say?" the leader of the hidden sound ninja team's forehead formed a vein in annoyance.
Sakura continued to mocked "What? You're not just weak but deaf too?"
"Annoying woman!" The leader said angrily as he rushed towards the explosive barrier seal.
The leader snorted and said "This is not enough to hold me back!" And sent a sound jutsu that vibrates through the air in his taijutsu and broke the barrier.
He smirked and bragged "See?" He was surprised because instead of being in fear, Sakura was smiling. "Yeah, I did see it." Sakura replied
The barrier that cracked lit up all around "What's happening?"
Boom!
"Gaaaaaah!" The leader said in pain as it exploded through his face and sent him flying
The two ninjas that were with him supported him and asked "You okay leader?"
The leader shrugged and said angrily "I'm gonna kill you!" turning his gaze in Sakura's direction.
He rushed in Sakura's direction and the barriers were already over. Sakura smiled again as she ran in the leader's direction and the trap activated and wrapped the leader with ropes
"!!!" The leader comparably became more angry but Sakura with 5 [Explosive Barrier] tags in hand sticking it to the trapped leader.
She turned her back from the leader and said "Don't hate me for this, I'm just doing this to survive."
She weaved a hand seal with one hand and shouted "Release!" The tags that stuck to the leader glowed and with his eyes widened trying to escape the trap seal but the seal did indeed release but it was too late.
Boom!
A large amount of smoke was released from the explosion when the barrier disappeared from the explosion.
The leader with his mouth open and eyes white slowly fell to the ground from suffering so much damage from the explosion.
The two teammates of the fallen ninja rushed in Sakura direction, as all the layers of the formation had been used, she only had a barrier scroll in hand "Release!"
The two ninjas snorted and sent a taijutsu attack with sound ninjutsu enhancement "Die!"
"Die? Who will?" They heard from their backs the sound of wind clashing against each other.
Chi! Chi! Chi!
Slash!
With a slight move of his hand, Naruto beheaded them both in an instant with his [Wind Style: Chakra Blade] before they could even release it.
"You're awake! Naruto…" Sakura said happily as she collapsed from the fatigue of being awake for 2 days straight stressed that someone might attack them at any moment
Naruto dispersed the chakra in his hand and used [Flying Thunder God Jutsu] to teleport beside Sakura. "Oops." He said as he caught Sakura.
Sakura was trying hard to keep her eyes open as Naruto asked "How much time has passed?"
"30 hours…" Sakura said with difficulty as the fatigue that she was holding back was coming all at once against her tired body from the fight.
Naruto nodded and smiled "Great job, you can leave the rest to me now, you can rest as well."
Sakura nodded slightly as she fell asleep immediately.
Naruto carried Sakura to lay down beside Sasuke and sighed while he looked at Sasuke "I told you that I would leave my life with you and you would get your ass injured like this…"
Sasuke who was asleep put out a frown as if he heard Naruto
Naruto simply ignored it and closed his eyes to feel his chakra. "Looks good. Shadow Clones Jutsu!"
Naruto again summoned 100 genin shadow clones that scouted the forest. "If you encounter the snake bastard again, inform me."
The shadow clones nodded and disappeared from the spot.
Naruto rubbed his chin as he thought about the layers of sealing formation Sakura made and nodded "Although it's a bit rough it's pretty good."
He brought out an ink from his generic scroll and overwrote the seals Sakura made and made it stronger.
It could withstand at least a few b-rank jutsu.
He nodded in satisfaction and went outside of it to get food. He jumped from tree to tree looking for food but saw a bear trying to kill a weak female ninja so he threw a kunai in the direction of the bear. With a [Rasengan] in his hand he teleported above the bear.
Crash!!!!!!
The Rasengan drilled into the head of the bear and sent it crashing into the ground creating cracks within the ground as the bear fell.
Naruto smiled towards the female ninja and smilingly asked as he stood on top of the bear "Are you okay?"
The female ninja slowly turned her head to look at his saviour and thought 'What a beautiful smile… It's like the sun…'
She blushed and replied "Yes…"
"Hm…" Naruto said as he rubbed his chin while staring at her, causing the female ninja to react bashfully "W-What is it…?"
Naruto continued and asked "Are you an Uzumaki? Or am I wrong?"
"Yes, I am. What about it?" the female ninja asked in confusion
"Just like I thought! Your hair is just as red as my mom's! It's pretty!"
"Pretty…?" The female ninja blushed in reply
"Yup! I'm Uzumaki Naruto! Nice to meet you!"
The female ninja stood up and bowed as she introduced herself "Hello, I'm Uzumaki Karin. Nice to meet you too. Thank you for saving me."
"No problem." Naruto replied but saw her arm and asked as he frowned "What happened to your arm? Why is it full of bite marks?"
Karin tried to cover her hand as she looked down in embarrassment and cried "This…"
Naruto observed the bitemarks and said "Looks like you have a special constitution where you'll heal anyone who bites you…"

Karin who was trying to hide her face that was crying, nodded
Naruto approached Karin, patted her shoulder and said with a smile "It's fine now… You can come with me. Since you're an Uzumaki too, we're basically family. I'll take care of everything you need."
Karin looked at Naruto who was healing her broken heart with just his good intentions alone. 'It's strange that having just met this person today, it already feels like I can trust him…' Karin thought as he looked at Naruto
Karin, a female ninja that has lost everything important to her and is only used as a tool in Kusagakure, she had nothing to lose, so she wiped her tears away and smiled "Yes!"
But suddenly two ninjas appeared. "Where are you going? Karin?" They asked in an arrogant tone.
Karin tugged on Naruto's shirt while trembling so he asked "They're your teammates?"
Karin nodded nervously
Naruto head pat Karin and said "It's okay. Don't worry. I'm here."
Karin nodded and hugged Naruto from behind tightly to hide from her teammates
"Um… Karin… I can't move if you hug me like that…" Karin didn't let go despite Naruto commenting that.
Naruto sighed and weaved a hand seal "well… nevermind. [Shadow Clones Jutsu!]"
He created 10 clones and instructed them to beat the shit out of the two ninjas.
"We-we're sorry…" The two ninjas said as they had their face bashed
Karin looked at Naruto in shock for being so strong. She had forgotten that Naruto beat the bear in just one strike. Naruto smiled and replied "I told you, it's okay."
Karin nodded and hugged one of his arms instead.
"Hah…" Naruto sighed and walked in the direction of the lake with Karin beside him.
One of the shadow clones whispered "What about her two teammates?"
Naruto whispered in reply "You don't need me to tell you right?"
The shadow clone nodded and instructed the other clones
Karin asked in curiosity "What was that for?"
"Nothing important. Wanna get something to eat? I'm hungry."
Karin nodded
