Hiruzen Sarutobi's arrival didn't go unnoticed by Asahi.

Putting aside the jade pendant he was carving, Asahi looked up to acknowledge Hiruzen Sarutobi's presence.

Since lunch, he had already carved several jade pendants. He had finished crafting all seven for his disciples, with the extras prepared for future use.

"Hmm~ The Hokage has arrived."

Asahi stood up, nodding towards Hiruzen Sarutobi, who reciprocated the gesture.

Kushina and the others, deeply engrossed in their training, initially didn't notice the arrival of Hiruzen Sarutobi, as their backs were turned. 

When Asahi spoke, they paused and turned to see the Hokage.

Even the youngest, Shisui, was no exception. From this, it was evident that Hiruzen Sarutobi, as the Hokage, carried a significant presence.

"I wonder what brings the esteemed Hokage here?" Asahi smiled and inquired.

Hiruzen Sarutobi chuckled in response, "Haha, not to keep you in suspense. The situation in the ninja world has been quite turbulent lately. So, I thought of sending Kushina and her team on a mission."

Just as expected! Asahi nodded inwardly, and Kushina couldn't help but cheer silently.

"Hmm? Is this young man Shisui, a descendant of the Kagami?" Hiruzen Sarutobi had naturally noticed Shisui, and now, out of courtesy, he finally addressed him.

Asahi showed no surprise at the question. If Hiruzen Sarutobi hadn't inquired, that would have been strange.

"Yes, indeed, he is Shisui. Yesterday, I observed his training and found his talent promising. Considering that without proper guidance, it would be a waste, I decided to take him under my wing."

"Coincidentally, since Shisui and Obito are cousins, having them both as my disciples is a pleasant coincidence."

Asahi calmly conveyed this to Hiruzen Sarutobi. As for Shisui, upon hearing his name mentioned by Asahi and the Hokage, especially concerning his grandfather, he couldn't help but unconsciously puff out his chest, as if validating his existence.

Seeing Shisui's little gesture, both Asahi and Hiruzen Sarutobi couldn't help but chuckle.

"Then, I entrust Shisui to you, Asahi-dono. Kagami was my teammate and a hero of Konoha. I believe his descendants possess extraordinary talents."

Hiruzen Sarutobi smiled and spoke, not dwelling too much on the matter.

After that, he looked down at Shisui and added, "Also, Shisui, if you ever encounter difficulties in the future, feel free to come to me."

"Yes, Hokage-sama." Shisui nodded vigorously.

"I believe they will go far in the future."

Asahi also nodded in agreement, acknowledging Hiruzen Sarutobi's words.

With a smile, Hiruzen Sarutobi turned to Kushina and said, "Kushina, now that you can perfectly control the power of the Nine-Tails, the village is willing to send you on missions."

"So, in the name of the Hokage, I command you..."

Hiruzen Sarutobi's tone changed, and Kushina, who had been playful moments ago, immediately became serious. 

Standing tall before the Hokage, she focused her eyes on him, awaiting further instructions.

"From now on, lead the team consisting of Uchiha Obito and Yuhi Kurenai. Tomorrow, you'll officially head to the Water Country border to investigate their activities."

"Yes, Hokage-sama!"

Upon hearing Hiruzen Sarutobi's command, Kushina, without hesitation, accepted.

Asahi noticed the subtle closeness in Hiruzen Sarutobi's words towards her but just smiled and didn't react.

"Kushina, this is your first time leading a team on a mission, so be extra careful."

Although Kushina was formidable, seeing her overly excited expression, Hiruzen Sarutobi couldn't help but remind her.

"Oh, don't worry, Hokage-sama. I'm not a child; I'll be fine."

Hearing Hiruzen Sarutobi's words, Kushina responded nonchalantly.

"I'm Kushina Uzumaki, a proud Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails. Collecting information with two little troublemakers, what could go wrong?"

However, seeing Kushina's carefree attitude, Hiruzen Sarutobi became even more concerned. 

But thinking about the other teams, he held back his words of caution. He decided to advise the other teams to keep an eye on Kushina's squad. Konoha couldn't afford any mishaps with this particular team.

"Alright, just be careful. I won't disturb your training. I'll take my leave now."

With that, Hiruzen Sarutobi bid farewell to Kushina and Obito and left.

"Oh yeah!"

It was only when Hiruzen Sarutobi was out of eyesight, that Obito couldn't contain his excitement. The news of being allowed on a mission had him over the moon. 

Though he couldn't go to the same place as Rin, this was enough to thrill this fledgling who had never left the village.

If it weren't for the fact that the Hokage, Obito's idol, was here, he would have already jumped up with excitement as soon as he heard the news. 

Even Kurenai, after Hiruzen Sarutobi left, let out a quiet cheer.

Only Shisui managed to keep his composure. After all, it didn't concern him.

Seeing their reactions, Asahi realized they wouldn't be able to focus on training anymore. 

It was better to dismiss them now and let them prepare for their upcoming mission.

"Since you all seem unable to concentrate, let's call it a day for today's training."

Asahi chuckled in resignation, and the disciples wanted to shout their gratitude for their wise master.

"Perfect timing. I've made a few jade pendants for you all. Treat them as tokens. When you see this pendant, you'll know it's a comrade."

"If you encounter danger, infuse a bit of chakra into it, and I'll arrive quickly."

Saying this, Asahi took out the jade pendants he had crafted for the four and handed them over. 

This left Kushina and the others momentarily stunned. Even though they had just become disciples recently, Asahi's kindness towards them was beyond words.

Taking the jade pendants from Asahi, they looked at the vivid patterns and saw their names represented on them. 

The four couldn't help but feel moved. A master is both a teacher and a parent!

In Asahi, they found a fatherly figure. Especially for orphans like Kushina, Obito, and Shisui, Asahi, without saying much, provided assurance for their future.

Running their fingers over the intricate patterns, Kushina, proficient in sealing jutsu, was surprised to discover that these patterns were composed of advanced sealing jutsu runes. 

She could clearly sense that this small jade pendant contained three highly advanced sealing techniques!
