In truth, Anrokuzan decision could be understood. After all, after being sneaky for so many years, the essence of being sneaky had deeply ingrained itself in him.

In other words, he had gotten used to being sneaky. 

If he suddenly decided to go out and face everything head-on, Anrokuzan might have ended up being taken down immediately.
