The story started off strong but after getting to chapter 200-300 nothing is really making sense like to many concepts that you don't go into enough depth in and seem to just be making stuff up on the fly without having a structure

This story is an insult to it's title. Don't bother reading this as it dips in quality massively later on and the world background is just destroyed. Everything became nonsensical in the end.

This novel was an interesting one. The novel wasn't bad, if you ignore the minor plot holes at the beginning, it gets pretty interesting. This novel has many interesting concepts, which is probably the only reason I read it for as long as I did before I dropped it. The MC makes some really weird decisions that for some reason isn't described except for it can be useful but they never explain how (at least before I stopped reading). The plot has so many interesting concepts but it feels very repetitive and after a while I got bored of reading. Usually I would just read through the boring parts, but there were also other factors causing me to drop it. Im sure if I powered through it, I would have a different opinion, but I didn't. I wouldn't recommend reading this, but if you're interested, you should give it a try.

I completed the whole novel and I have to say, damn what an amazing roller coaster ride. This is one of the best novels I've ever read and I've read all the famous ones. Unlike most xianxia novels, there wasn't a single moment where the story started to slow down or senseless fighting. Each moment you will be at the edge of your seat anticipating the next part. Such a fun filled adventure, this story really has a lot of twists and humour. Definitely worth a read.

Thanks for making such an amazing novel. I've been reading chapters through night and day. I'll miss this novel so much. Everytime the chapter go deeper, more things has been added, words, characters, history,past and twist that makes the story interesting. I love how the author put those new terms and words that makes me think how the heck it comes up with those ideas 😎😎😎Moreover, doesn't need to add hot stuffs for the reader as where already burning with the Main lead's journey. This is a novel that takes about 400 chapters for the plot to pick up. When it does, it never stops rolling. It's an action-comedy with fantasy elements. The story doesn't take itself all that seriously, and neither should should you. It's a really enjoyable read, completely worth the time, and spirit stones. This story contains nearly one of the best protagonists for this particular genre. The MC utilizes intelligence and wit despite an initially not-so-OP strength.

The Strongest Gene has an extremely creative and vast world that continues to expand beyond what I initially thought. The main character's sly and resourceful nature never cease to amaze, I find my self pleasantly surprised with every development.

Paywall. Give up on the story, they are not releasing any free chapters anymore. For future reference, I suggest being careful with how you spend your spiritstones/powerstones, seems like quidian is on the watch for more stories to paywall.

Story got paywalled to death. I don't know wether Qidian or the Translator decide that but this simply sucks, I don't mind watching ads or skipping them for 4ss but 8-15ss per chapter without the option of watching an ad? No thanks. I just hope that the more decent storys don't all end up like this...

Good novel I really enjoy it but this spirit stone business is killing it for me it's becoming a chore which I might just not deal with after a while good novel regardless.

The story is quite good but 30+ locked chapters really killed it for me. Not everybody wish to spend real money for translations. Please use ad system or make it cheaper. (I am lvl 4 and I can not afford it now, even thou I do not spend stones on other novels)

so, 7 chapter free every week it's not entirely true, right? if you are free reader and unlock some chapter with spirit stone, you must wait the free chapter till it reach the chapter that you unlock to get the free chapter again. and if you're impatient, you can keep open it with spirit stone. its like the title of chapter 260 "The horror of RNG mechanism"

I rated translation quality and update stability 1 star because its a freaking joke, its a rip off making people pay to read new chapters, this novel is so awesome its such a pity that there is someone shameless enough to try and profit of it...

The story is written pretty well with a few instances of far fetched situations but I have enjoyed it so far. Now that they are making readers pay 8+ stones for each new chapter, and I don’t buy stones, I’ll be reading this book less. Charging stones for extra chapters I am fine with but for EVERY new chapter after 245~ is just absurd.

I ANTICIPATE THIS STORY WILL DISCONTINUE - THE TRANSLATOR IS RUINING THIS STORY BY DEMANDING SPIRIT STONES FOR CHAPTERS!!! The character, a reincarnator, is one lucky guy. He uses his luck to integrate "super genes" into his body and advance. So far, not really "cultivation" so much as developing one's body and purchasing or manufacturing DNA grafts. Secret societies, guilds, fighting mutant beasts to retake territory. ... good stuff.

Um could someone tell the reason why the number of stones needed to unlock the chapters are becoming doubled to almost quadrupled to the past where one would only need to use four to unlock a chapter?
