C36 - Lucas vs Steven. (Part 1)

"Achoo!" Lucas sneezed and looked around. "Argh... It's hard to become handsome."

He shook his head and followed Steven at the booth beside the battle stage and took their owned trainer's ID. They make an official match once the match ends, their win and loss will be recorded including the Poke dollars they bet.

Steven saw Lucas' Battle History was zero and was shocked. Since he saw his Pokémon were not novice in battling. He looked to Lucas and told him.

"Heh! So your first game will be recorded as a defeat." He looked at him. Lucas shrugged his shoulders, he looked at him showing his smirk.

"Don't blame me, if you lose to a newbie later."

Steven smirked and didn't mind him. He knew the battle had already started before the official match began. The battle of words and mind already began earlier and whoever first bit the bullet lost! The fact their concentration will be affected during the game. The result is a tie.

They entered the stage and a referee walked in the middle. In every official match one alliance referee was available and how the referee became available after confirming the official match.

In the field.

Referee "On the red side! Trainer Lucas and the blue side! Trainer Steven. The 3v3 Official Pokémon Battle, the loser must pay 10,000 Poke Dollars to the winner. One Pokémon will be sent in the field and can be changed after per game. Official Match begun!"

Steven looked to Lucas and took his Pokeball throwing the field. "Skarmory! Show your might."

"Skar~!!" Skarmory spread his wings while looking below with disdain with his keen eyes ability he became more terrifying during combat.

Lucas used his system status and discovered his Skarmory has a green aptitude with Keen eyes. A Pokémon compatible in long range and increasing the Pokémon hit. He took his Pokeball and released his favorite buddy.

"Husk! do your best."

"Rio~!" Riolu made a front flip and looked at his opponent. A flying Pokémon seeing his contempt gaze, Riolu raised his hands and taunted him.

"Skar~!!" Skarmory was enraged as he provoked him.

"BEGIN!"

"Skarmory! use swift." Steven gives a command.

"Skar!"

Skarmory spread and flapped his wings. He bombarded Riolu with a star shaped attack like a plane dropping a series of bombs!

"Husk! Let's dance, Vacuum Wave!" Lucas made a command.

Riolu dodge the swift with his inherited moves [Detect] by performing a break dance and counter Skarmory with vacuum waves from his limbs.

"Ri! Ri!" Riolu made continuous moves that made Steven dazed in surprise while Skarmory looked to Riolu with determination to defeat him.

"Air slash!"

Skarmory flipped his wings, releasing a series of attacks. Riolu senses the danger from his attack and dodge the attack by flipping his body with vacuum wave attacks from time to time.

"Keep it up! Agility." Lucas made a command and used his ability to communicate. ("Husk! used Force Palm on his head.")

"Ri~!!"

Riolu heard his trainer's command, he made another backflip and charged toward his opponent as he gathered his fighting energy on both hands. Steven saw his opponent made a silly move without realizing his plan! He took advantage and made a command.

"Skarmory! use Agility and Wing attack."

"Skar~!!" Skarmory flew higher on the high place and spread his wings. As he spread the energy inside him made a free fall toward his target!

"SKAR!!" Skarmory opened his wings revealing a concentrated energy of his attributes.

"Husk! Do it." Lucas commanded.

"RI~!" Riolu used the vacuum wave on his feet with his fast speed and launched himself. He flew like a bullet and used his palm hitting Skarmory's head. Riolu escaped cleverly from any collateral damage from Skarmory's free fall!

Steven was surprised by Lucas' unexpected action! He used the speed of Riolu and vacuum waves to fly, he immediately made a command.

"Skarmory, hold yourself! FLY!" Skarmory was falling and wanted to use his fly, but he was paralyzed. Lucas saw the opportunity and made a counter.

"Husk! Let's end his misery! Cross Chop.``

"Rio~!! lu." Riolu used a vacuum wave and jumped higher from Skarmory.

He used his moves as he fell toward his target. Skarmory saw Riolu's cross chop, he wanted to escape, but the force palm affected his body!

BANG!

The ground exploded covering the whole place filled with dust. As the view became clearer both Lucas and Steven saw Riolu standing raising both his arms, he looked at the sky smiling! Riolu made an official debut and won!

"Skarmory fainted! Riolu wins!" The referee directed his flag toward Lucas. He smiled and called his Pokémon to rest on his side with his aura. On other hand, Steven shrugged his shoulders and called his Pokémon inside his poke ball.

("Husk! come here and rest let little Kuni made a debut.")

"Good job! buddy."

"Ri~!!"
