Laz'el and ShadowHeart

After exploring his new system he finally decides it's time to move, but hopefully, he can find something to cover his eyes as soon as possible. He looks around the room and sees a dead body of a mind flair. His six eyes are insane they explain to him everything about the people he looks at from a strength and description standpoint. It's nice.

He walks over to the body does the classic RPG player strategy and loots the body completely. Everything can be useful and he was right he found a a black blindfold just like the one that Satoru used in the anime. He puts it on and the flow of information to his brain is called down and he feels more lively. Ht mind flair also gave him gold and an onyx. He continues to explore the room looting everything he comes by and sees a tentacle-like healing pod. That is something he wants to be touching so he walks through the door.

It's like a throne room sort of that he is walking through. His eyes wander behind his blindfold and lands on a dead goblin. Goblins are disgusting little things that he will never like at all, but he will loot it. Loot is loot.

"We are here."

Satoru turns to the area of the voice immediately. He looks up and sees a dead elf. There is no way a dead elf just talked to him right?

"We are trapped."

He hears the voice from the dead elf again. He jumps from the goblin to the elf's dead body and slowly walks to the excess energy coming from its head.

"Yes! You've come to save us from this place, from this place you will save us!"

Satoru stares at the brain seeing it quiver in expectation. He doesn't know how to react it's like he's talking to a baby version of Kenjaku.

"Please before they return. They return."

"So you're a talking brain huh? Why does that not surprise me?" Satoru sighs. To be more specific it is an intellect devourer so it's exactly like Kenjaku. "So what do you want me to do?"

"Remove us from this body- from this case free us. Please!"

"Yeah sure I guess." Satoru makes a blue point of convergence on his hand and pulls the brain from the head instantly. It feels weird holding a brain in his hand. He could kill it for exp right now but he wants to learn more about what is currently happening now. Scratch that it reminds him too much of Kenjaku. He crushes the creature completely with blue and gains 25 exp.

He moves on jumping down onto the ground floor and walks outside. He looks as dragons fly around the ship but senses someone behind him. He pretends he doesn't sense them and the person uses this chance to jump over him and land gracefully pointing her sword at his throat.

"Abomination this is your end" She hisses.

Satoru tilts his head when suddenly his head throbs and his skin tingles. Visions rush past: a dragon wing, a silver sword - and a flash of his face seen through the strange woman's eyes.

"My head. What is this... ngh" She groans slowly breathing in and out. Satoru studies her. A Githyanki huh what is she doing here? "Tsk'va. You are no thrall - Vlaakith blesses me this day! Together we might survive." He notices her mood drastically change after their minds are seemingly connected due to the parasites in their heads.

"So are you gonna tell me who you are? You kinda pointed a blade to my throat it's only right I get to know you're name." Satoru jokes to himself.

"Who am I? Your only chance of survival." She states.

"OK cool, I don't want your name anyway." Satoru pouts rolling his eyes. "So what do you suggest all-powerful one."

She ignores his childish antics and proceeds to answer him. "We can do nothing until we can escape - that must be our priority." She turns her head to the left and Satoru follows her line of sight. "First, we exterminate the imps. Then we find the helm and take control of the ship." She rushes forward and pulls out her great sword getting ready for battle. Satoru joins her and gets into a fighting stance. The imps notice their presence and stop their meal to fight.

There are four of those imps all surrounding them. He is limited to only punching so he doesn't kill the gith as collateral. He spleed blitz forward kicking one of the imps completely in half gaining 10 exp. While the imp's focus is on Satoru the gith rushes forward and splits another imp down the middle with her greatsword covering it in blood.

Satoru smiles as one of the imps moves to attack him but his reaction ability activates immediately. The imp stops in place gaining a confused look from both the monster and the gyth. With the confusion going on Satoru coats his hand in cursed energy and buts a blue point pulling forward the last two imps. With one punch they both explode. Gaining him 20 exp.

"You prove surprisingly adequate in battle." The gyth states walking towards him. "Also care to explain how the imps were not able to hit you?"

He gives her a sly smirk seeing he peaked her interest. "I will only if you tell me your name. I can't just call you gyth."

She rolls her eyes. "It's Laz'el now explain."

"Nice to meet you Laz'el. Well, basically it is the neutral form of my magic called limitless. The neutral form is called infinity and it creates pretty much an invisible barrier around me that protects me at all times. The closer enemies get to me the slower they become to the point where they can never hit me. Cool right?" Satoru smugly states.

"Maybe you will be of some use after all." Laz'el groans at his smugness and begins walking.

"You are absolutely no fun." Satoru rolls his eyes behind his blindfold and moves to loot all the dead bodies around him. So much loot. He is definitely trading it. After looting he follows Laz'el up the helm and they walk into a control room. The controls are in the middle surrounded by what look like chairs with unconscious people on them.

He smiles looking at the free exp. He puts blue points on the unresponsive people and crushes their bodies completely gaining 10 exp from each.

"Let me out!"

Satoru's attention is drawn to the pod as he sees a person banging on the glass. He slowly walks up to the pod and stops in front of it.

"You get me out of this damn thing!"

"We have no time for stragglers." Laz'el chimes in. Satoru side-eyes her and turns back to the woman in the pod. He looked at the system next to him. It's fully alien but it seems it needs some sort of key. "This ship is crashing. Do you intend to die for a stranger?"

"To be fair you're a complete stranger to me also. Why would one more hurt." He shrugs and looks back to the woman in the pod. "Don't worry I'll get you out just give me a second."

"Try that contraption next to the pod - they did something to it when they sealed me in."

Satoru nods his head but doesn't move towards the console system. He looks around to see another room and begins walking towards it. Another brain thing appears but is killed immediately by Satoru gaining 10 more exp. He keeps walking not focusing on the person in the center of the room who is also trapped in a pod. They are too close to transforming he can't help them no matter how much he wants to.

He loots all the bodies and chests in the room finds what he thinks is the key and walks back to the other woman in the pod. He walks up to the console and places the rune into it and it hums to life. He places his hand on the console and a screen pops up in front of him with a dice. Yep, very D&D-like. He rolls in his mind seeing that the lowest he can scroll is a 2.

Suddenly he feels a hideous squirming in his head. It's the parasite. Then the discomfort fades and another sensation washes over him, Connection authority. He rolls the dice in his head to will the pod open. He lands on a 3. Wow, that could have been bad.

He feels the biomedical brain of the console process his command and yield to it. A shiver runs across his mind. He feels sated. The pod opens ejecting the woman out of the pod.

"At last. I thought I was done for."She states. "I thought that damn thing was going to be my coffin. Thank you--". His mind lurched into her thoughts. Her gratitude is mixed with wariness - because he has a gith with him. "You keep dangerous company."

"Ehh I'm a lot more dangerous realistically, but I understand where you are coming from," Satoru explains. "But did you feel that we were in each other's heads?"

"I did ... It must be because of those parasites they put in us. But that'll have to wait, are we going to help each other or not?" She asks.

"Yep, I'm down the more the merrier. I'm Satoru Gojo nice to meet you." He extends his hand but she doesn't reciprocate the gesture.

"Shadowheart. One moment." She responds and turns to grab an object in her pod. He would ask about it but he doesn't really care right now. These two are bringing his energy down but he can see from their point of view this is a life-or-death situation so he will let it slide for now.

After she grabs her object she rejoins the group and they get moving. Satoru stops to open the chest he finds the key and loots it whole. So many things to sell. So much gold.

With the time winding down on escaping, he cuts his looting short and walks through the door on the opposite side of them and is met with another tentacle healing machine. He ignores it and moves forward.

"We are nearing the helm. Once inside do as I say." Laz'el orders causing Satoru to frown and respond before Shadowheart has the chance.

"You're not in charge. The strongest person would be in charge and that is undoubtedly me." He states. Yep seems like Gojo's cockiness carried over into his personality as well. "If you follow my lead we all can make it out of her with literally no injuries. I'll be in front to grab the attention of all the enemies and you two attack from afar."

Laz'el sucks her teeth as Shadowheart looks at him. "So you're gonna be the sacrifice of sorts?"

"Trust me Shadowheart I'll be fine don't worry you're cute little face." He smirks already knowing his charms will have no effect on her and moves forward through the door.

Once they are through what they see is a bunch of devils fighting mind flairs. One Mind Flayer feasts on the brains of one of the devils and snaps its neck. The same mind flair is then slashed one by one by three different imps killing the mid flair immediately.

"Thrall. Connect the nerves of the transponder. We must escape now."

Satoru will never get used to hearing the Mind Falyer in his head especially when he thinks he is one of them. That thing is definitely dying by his hands.

"Do it. We will deal with the ghailk after we escape." Laz'el pushes and immediately unsheathes her greatsword. The ladder joins her in the fight. Satoru jumps forward grabbing ahold of the imp by the wings and ripping them out of its back effectively killing it, As soon as he dies uses the body as a blu point and throws it into the air pulling in the hellsboar and other imps.

"Shadowheart now!" He shouts and she casts a guiding bolt in her hands and throws it at the cluster of creatures setting them all ablaze and killing the rest of the little monsters. Now it's time for the bigger threats. The mind flayer is on their side for now so he will be dealt with later.

The three of them rush forward to help the Mind Flayer who is effectively losing to the commander devil. Satoru would call him a noob but he wouldn't understand that. From the info given to him by his six ryes, the commander is around level 8 way above all of their levels but he is Satoru Gojo so he will be fine. Shadowheart and Laz'el not too much.

Satoru jumps into the fight with the Mind Flayer and Commander his first move is to pull the sword from the commander's hand and claim it for himself. It caught his attention when he first walked through the door. It was successful causing the commander to lose his sword reducing his damage drastically. The Mind Flayer uses this time to attack the commander doing a considerable amount of damage.

The commander turns his attention to the bigger threat he sensed which was Satoru and goes to throw a heavy punch that would stagger even a level 4 taking half their health but it stops before it can even hit him. "Oh, that's tough man. Better luck next time. Also, look up." Satoru teases the commander. Before the commander can even react Laz'el drops from above slicing off the arm of the commander like butter. "I would say you'll be all right but it's looking like you will be all left."

"Stop with the jokes." Laz'el roars.

"Never." He claps back sweeping his leg underneath the commander knocking him over and Shadowheart makes her appearance casting inflict wounds. She lands a critical hit. Slowly the commander's body starts to wither away with a green color. He inches forward to Satoru but crumbles into dust before he can even hit him.

"You serve no purpose anymore." The Mind Flayer exclaims and immediately goes to attack Laz'el but is too slow as Satoru moves in front of her canceling the attack thanks to infinity. He coats his hand in blue and punches the mind flayer black sparks fly out of his hands only signaling one thing. Black Flash. A rush of energy flows throw Satoru's body the nerves, his senses his body all feel the effects of the black flash. His cursed energy maxes out and with that, he pulls out his finger and points it towards the Mind Flayer.

"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red" With those words a red ball forms at the tip of his finger and expels a repulsive force ripping the Mind flayer apart and effectively destroying a majority of the ship.

"What was that ability?!" Shadowheart yells completely in marvel at how much damage he caused.

"I got ahead of myself we have to go now." Satoru runs forward spawning in more enemies than he kills in an instant. He reaches the transponder just in time and connects the tentacles. The ship shakes as it travels through dimensions. The ship launches the three of them around with Satoru pulling himself to a wall. Explosions encompases the ship one by one causing the ship to turn and he makes the executive decision to not go down with the ship at all.

He runs forward jumping out of the ship and begins falling to the ground. He looks back to the ship watching it fall next to him engulfed in an unyielding fire. Before he can hit the ground he suddenly stops right above the ground. Like something was looking out for him and stopped him from hitting the ground.

The blue energy lets go of him and he lands on his feet and looks to the ship on his left. It crashes into the ground exploding apart in what he can only say is a bit dramatic. The first quest is completed and he can't wait for more.
