Chapter 18

Pedestrians were turning their heads when they walked past Scott and Jenna on the sidewalk. She decided to ignore him the rest of the way home though he was constantly asking her to justify her investigative actions. She stormed into the house and he did the same, however, slamming the door behind him. She was well aware of his temper on the hockey rink, but she didn’t think he would take it off ice as well. He realized from the look of her face that he stepped out of line and quickly apologized for behavior.
