Hearing their story, the Husband and Wife were stunned for a short while and they couldn't help but feel sorry for them.

Wu Chen thought 'So they are truly on their own. They are not by themselves by their own choice. I knew that something was off. To think their past was so horrible though and they could still press on despite being so young.'

He was especially impressed when he saw the determination in Yun Tian's eyes. Wu Chen also saw his desire to kill those who killed his parents.

Wu Chen thought for a moment and looked at Ming Yu. She seemed to understand his thoughts and nodded to him.

With that Wu Chen asked "So you guys have no one to rely on at all?"

Shen Yu cut in "We have each other."

Wu Chen then said "Then why don't you stay here. With your strength and talent if you wanted every clan would love for you to join them. That's only if you wanted though."

"Me and Ming Yu would also like it if you guys just decided to stay with us. It would also probably be pretty easy for you to get your own house if you want. To be honest everything is your choice, but if you can just start your life over again here in this town."

Yun Tian looked at Shen Yu and there was a faint desire in his heart to just do as he said and settle down here.

'I wouldn't have to risk my life or constantly train anymore. I'm sure Shen Yu would be happier.'

'My parents on Earth just wanted me to be happy and achieve all I could. The same goes for my parents in this world. I'm sure they would be happy with any choice I make.'

These thoughts instantly went away though.

'After two lives' experience of loss due to my weakness have I really not learned my lesson. If I am not strong enough, even if it's not for revenge, there is nothing stopping people from hurting my loved ones again.'

At first, Wu Chen was happy seeing the look on Yun Tian's face like he was considering the offer. Then he saw the determination in Yun Tian's eyes only grew. Wu Chen could only sigh in his mind.

What he didn't expect though was Yun Tian asking Shen Yu "Do you want to stay here Shen Yu?"

She was confused by the question since like Wu Chen she thought that Yun Tian didn't want to stay here. Wu Chen however was not confused by question and was happy that Yun Tian was trying to see if his sister wanted to stay here even if he didn't.

Even though she was confused she still said "I want to be wherever you are."

"Thank you Shen Yu. I am sorry I am too stubborn. Maybe we could just live a nice peaceful and quiet life, but I just won't accept that. We never know what could go wrong so I have decided to get as strong as I can. Are you willing to follow me and endure the hardships that may come Shen Yu."

"If not you can just stay here with them and live a normal life."

Shen Yu answered him with slightly teary eyes "Just like you care about me Dage, I care about you. While I may not be able to do much, at least I can be there for you."

Hearing this Yun Tian smiled, wiped her eyes, and said to the couple "Well you heard us. We already decided our paths. Thank you for trying to help us."

Wu Chen said to him "Fine then I won't linger on the topic. I have another question though that I am pretty sure of the answer now that I know of your strength."

"Were you perhaps injured by wolves before?"

Hearing that Yun Tian said "Yes I was. Just like you may have thought, those wolves outside are probably here for me since I killed some of them."

With that he took out an early stage demonic beast core from his spatial bag.

Seeing it Wu Chen couldn't help but be surprised saying "Is that a demonic beast's core? Didn't you say you broke through to mid dantian building today? I heard that demonic beasts are generally stronger than humans in the same realm?"

Hearing that Yun Tian smirked and said "It is not only my cultivation speed that is fast. My combat strength and comprehension ability is also quite strong. Isn't that right Shen Yu?"

She punched him in response and said "Yes it's true he can train skills annoyingly fast and is quite strong. Even before he broke through to dantian building Dage trained his skills to a high stage. Dage has also hunted beasts for a long time so he has a lot of experience."

Ming Yu still did not know too much about the cultivation world so she was not surprised hearing this, but Wu Chen knew that skills could only be used to their full potential after you broke through to dantian building.

He merely smiled and thought 'I guess nothing could surprise me anymore.'

"Okay then I only have one more question. What is your connection with the Feng clan?"

Yun Tian responded "Oh I saved their young miss from dying to a mid dantian building elder of the Chen clan. I killed that elder in the process."

At first he thought the connection was a vague one to an irrelevant member of the clan, but hearing this even though he thought he couldn't be surprised anymore his thoughts still went wild hearing this.

He also had to be sure of one thing "You can kill someone in a higher stage than you!? Does anyone from the Chen clan know what you did?"

"Yes I can and I don't think so. If they find out it has to the Feng clan telling them, but they owe me so I doubt they would, especially since they are enemies with the Chen clan now."

Wu Chen was surprised once more while he also breathed in relief at that.

"Okay that's good. Then what are your plans next then. Since those wolves are here for you, it might not be safe to leave town right now."
