Overshadowed

Yun Tian congratulated the wolf like the others saying, "Nice, you're starting to catch up."

As for Shen Yu, she was happy, but at the same time she was upset at being the weakest and not even having broken through to dantian building yet.

Still, she congratulated the wolf and they all spent some time lazing around and playing around.

Afterwards, Yun Tian said suddenly, "My demonic core and dantian are close to becoming full as well. I am going to start using late stage demonic cores to cultivate now. I should be approaching my breakthrough with my demonic core soon."

With his will growing firmer, he ultimately made the choice to stop being wary of his weird body.

If he broke through with his demonic core first, so what? If his cultivation wanted to harm him, what could he even do about it?

He had completely run out of pills for cultivating his dantian. While he could use demonic cores, it was less effective and he would rather just spend the time cultivating his demonic core at that rate.

He also thought of one other thing he could try to cultivate his dantain at the moment, but in the end he decided to stop hesitating about his demonic core. So, he gave up that idea for now and focused on his demonic core.

As for whether it was worth it to forgo his dantian for the moment, he had already thought it through. While he somewhat used the strength of his body to help him in battles, he had grown even more used to using its advantages in battles after forming warrior's intent.

So, whether it was the breakthrough of his demonic core or dantian, they would both greatly enhance his strength. Which, made his resolve to break through with his demonic core stronger.

At his words though, Bolin who had felt joy upon his breakthrough became clear headed again. He sighed in his mind and remembered that Yun Tian was a monster that grew extremely fast and that even now he was still below him in strength. He wasn't even close to catching up.

Yun Tian had already told Shen Yu that he was planning on breaking through with his demonic core first so she wasn't surprised, but she still felt worried. She trusted him though and all she could do was watch and cheer him on.

Everyone stayed gathered around even though Yun Tian said he was going to start cultivating. They all wanted to make sure he would be okay.

Yun Tian took out a late stage demonic core and prepared to start cultivating. As he held it in his hand he felt the great amount of energy it contained and braced himself.

Then he started to absorb the energy inside it into his body. It travelled throughout his body and ultimately ended at his demonic core.

The demonic qi entering his body was extremely pure and full of vigor. Besides that, there was a lot of it that never stopped pouring into his body.

As this was happening, he only felt his body growing stronger and the demonic qi within his demonic core growing stronger and filling up faster than ever before. He felt little of the strain he had expected, but soon realized the reason why.

His demonic core was already close to the next level. Mid stage cores had started to become much less effective. The only reason he was able to grow so strong with them was the immense amount he had used from all the demonic beasts he had hunted.

With how strong he was, it made sense that he wouldn't feel much strain even when absorbing a late stage demonic core.

The rest watched for a while. Upon seeing that he was fine and that it was actually easy for him, they all went back to their own training. The rest of the wolves had also started to absorb the qi from mid stage demonic cores and were doing their best to reach the same stage as Bolin.

As for Shen Yu, she was unsure when she would reach dantian building, but she was giving it her all.

Yun Tian continued to absorb the qi from the demonic core at a rapid pace and his demonic core soon grew until it was nine tenths full. That was when the energy within the core he was holding ran out. Still, he was exhilarated to feel his strength grow so much so quickly.

Even though it took over an hour, he did not stop and took out another late stage demonic core and continued his cultivation. He had many late stage demonic cores. He felt no reason to stop and he wanted to break through right now.

Yun Tian absorbed all the qi from this core and he felt his demonic core growing stronger and more full. He felt that either the next core or the one after that would allow him to break through.

So, he took out another core and absorbed the qi within it. After a little over three quarters of the qi within it was gone, he felt his demonic core becoming completely full and that he could try to break through at any moment.

He felt extremely happy and excited, but did not let his thoughts become clouded. Instead he just continued to absorb the qi into his demonic core and body even if it didn't do much at this point. It still helped somewhat, but that wasn't his main reason for him doing this.

After he absorbed all the qi with the core, he took out another. He wanted to approach the breakthrough while having a completely full late stage demonic core at the ready, instead of the almost empty one. In fact, he took out several more and placed them around him.

The others noticed this and realized what he was doing. They all gathered around once more to watch.

Yun Tian took in a breath and calmed his mind. He started to absorb the qi with the core into his body ending in his demonic core once more.

The sensation of being bloated welled up within him and he felt the sensation of a breakthrough approaching.
