As Peter and the rest of his team gets everything together to start a track back through the fog. He looks around one last time then waves down the three who are coming back with him back to camp. He looks to Justin, major I want you keep your heads on a swivel keep your defenses tight. Justin salutes Peter, Roger that sir. Peter nods and looks up to his Master Chief. Chief I'd like you to stay here with the major. Chief Master Sergeant Marcus J Jackson a buff old black man who is no nonsense and serious man bald head, brown eyes. Marcus looks at Peter gives him a salute, aye aye sir. Peter not his head looks at the three coming with him back to camp, all right boys let's get out of here. The three look at Peter, sir! They connect to tethers to each other and walk back through the strange foggy doorway.

Mar 13th 2029 Florida Everglades campsite

Lex is waking around the camp and finds the makeshift mess hall tent and runs into three of his teammates. Staff sergeant Rachel L Barnes she has blonde hair blue eyes tall for a woman well built as well standing at six foot but she is a very sweet girl and is the teams medic. Next to her is corporal Philip s Thompson kind of short for a guy but like Hector he's built like a bulldog he's the team's second heavy gunner he has light brown hair and hazel eyes despite the way he looks he actually is very kind and quiet person. On the other side of Rachel is a feisty black woman named private first class Ivy G Gardner she is well built with beautiful black wavy hair brown eyes. She's feisty but she's the one of the most fun people to be around and keeps it everybody someone out of trouble like Rebecca always smacks Lex and Johnny for being idiots. Lex walks up to them, yo what's up you guys they turn to him and wave. Sup Lex? Rachel looks at Lex, what are you getting yourself into this time? And don't think we did hear what happened with the scientist lady. The three of them chuckle at Lex. Hey who talked? Ivy starts laughing out loud, who do you think? Lex places is index finger and thumb on the bridge of his nose closing his eyes, god dammit Johnny. The three to start laughing at him again. Ok ok laugh it up you three. What are you guys up to? Philip looks at Lex we are just about to get some chow. Rachel looks at Lex, your just looking around? Lex nods, yah I'm bored here want to do something other than sit around. The three nod to that. Ivy then thinks of something she wanted to ask Lex. Hey Lex any word about what the fog is? I know it's something that you, Johnny and the Commander where talking about. Lex shakes his head, no and the scientists here still not able to figure that out either. We're waiting to see if the recon forces fine before anything else. Ivy nods, yah heard about that. It's just odd that no one's able to figure that out. Do you know when the recon team comes back? Lex shrugs his shoulders, don't know. They went in yesterday haven't been back yet there really is no telling. As they are talking about this they hear ppl yelling out about some of the recon boys came back. They all look at each other and without even saying words they all started running towards the fog. As Lex was running towards where the recon team is coming back he runs into somebody. With his fast reflexes he's able to catch the woman before she hits the ground, I'm so sorry ma'am I should have been. His words cut off when he notices who it is. His face turns bright red and mind goes blank. Izzy looks up in to lex's eyes a slight blush coming up on her own face. Izzy then gets pulls herself up to her feet. It's ok same for me. She looks back to Lex, why is your turning so red are you sick or something? Lex little dumbfounded gathers his thoughts. No no I'm fine I'm fine. Ummm I like to start over from a while ago. My name is Specialist Alexander M Marcotte everybody calls me Lex it's nice to meet you. Izzy see this and with a small smile reaches out her hand and grabs his hand,it's nice to me you I'm Dr. Isabella Scott one of the biologists studying the abnormality. Lex looking into her eyes his heart skips beat. But every one calls me Izzy. She gives him a gentle smile. Lex composes himself, about to go see the recon team want to come with? Izzy nods her head. They make there way to where the returning recon team is. As I get there they noticed there's only three of them. Izzy with a shocked face, what happened to the rest of them where are they? Lex starts to observe them, wherever they are they chose to split up to keep people in the fog in a defensive perimeter more than likely wow these three come back to share their findings. Izzy looks at Lex, do you think that's what happened? Lex nods, yeah without a doubt otherwise I would never split up the ways I doubt these guys would come back composed the way they are. As they get closer they hear a voice.

Peter gets in front the crowd forming, everyone I don't know how to say this and I don't know how to explain this but what we found is unbelievable. Peter goes on to explain everything. Lex and Izzy are completely dumb struck not knowing what to say. Lex turns to Izzy, hey how much of the story do you believe? What the lieutenant Commander is talking about is way too far fetched for words. Izzy looks up at Lex and nods at him, yah but if what he is saying is true this is the biggest discovery the world's ever seen. A possibility of being in another world think about the possibilities. Izzy stops tho and thinks then she looks at Lex's eyes. What's going to happen now though what's the plan? Lex shakes his head, I don't know actually this is something that's beyond our comprehension at the moment. The only thing we could do now is get the exploration team together and head into the fog. But or more than likely going to have to wait a couple days before we do that they might be stepping up these last two steps to go all in one go. With wide eyes Izzy, so instead of just us going through the fog it's going to be us and the construction team going through into the fog together? Lex nods, yeah if what the lieutenant commander is talking about the government is going to want to establish a base as soon as possible. And establishing a foothold sooner rather than later is a better policy than just sending a exploration force and a team of researchers by themselves is not the wisest choice cuz what if something happens while we're there we need more than what we have now. With a realization Izzy nods her head and understanding, I get it it might end up being too dangerous for just 30 to 40 people being in a unknown place without proper defenses. Lex nods, yah more than likely we're not just going to be escorting you guys there we're going to probably be stationed there and definitely until we're told otherwise. After Lex says that though he gets that chill running up his spine again his face turns pale. Izzy sees this, are you okay? You look like your getting sick. Lex takes a deep breath in and lets it out, I'm fine I just getting this bad feeling like we're getting ourselves into something strange.
