The Drought of Blood

As Imogen veered left towards a Muskrat looking creature, she acquired a nasty headache.

 "I feel as though my brain will pop out of my skull if this keeps up." Groaned Imogen as she tore the head off the squealing muskrat.

"All this blood looks so good, but I have to feed it to my flower; I will withstand this primal urge." Assured Imogen whilst she wrung the last bit of blood from the deceased muskrat.

Imogen looked to the sky and shouted at the gods.

 "Why have you cursed me with a headache, I hope you all burn in hell!" Cried Imogen as she wacked her head into a tree.

 "That made it worse, why can't anything in life be simple." Whined Imogen, still banging her head into the tree.

"What did you say?" "Stop banging my head into the tree, such is blasphemy!" Laughed Imogen, starting to turn bona fide mad.

 "That was a great joke, I'm so proud; you just melt my heart." Croaked Imogen whilst real tears dripped down her face.

"Is that a woman, what's a woman doing so far out in the forest at this time of day Gil?" Inquired a man as he walked down a bloody dirt path.

"Jim!" "The dirt's fucken loaded with blood, is this another satanic ritual?" Asked Gil, urgency staining his words.

"Oh no!" "Stay here Gil, I'll be back with guards soon!" Screamed Jim as he ran for his worthless life.

"Fuck that, she's looking right at me; Jim you bastard!" Raged Gil whilst he turned his feet to run.

"Where might you be going, LITTLE SHEEP!" Cackled Imogen as she ran at Gil with her mouth unhinged and her fangs bared.

"Back off demon, plague of humanity; I'm a disciple of Denair!" Lied Gil, tapping his feet against the ground nervously.

"Oh, well in that case... I'LL MAKE SURE TO RETURN YOUR DRIED OUT CORPSE TO HER!" Shrieked Imogen whilst somehow opening her mouth even wider.

Gil turned tail and ran for dear life, praying for forgiveness all along the way.

"MY PREY!" "Submit yourself to me, the true god of old!" Demanded Imogen as she pulled her bottom jaw so far down that the flesh was ripped off it.

"Fuck off you primordial bitch, I'm not going down without a fight!" Snarled Gil as he pulled an axe from his back.

"You cretin, if a fight is what you want; death will be had!" Screeched Imogen whilst she brought a halberd to her side. "You can strike first, but it won't change a thing!" Jeered Imogen, blocking an attack from Gil.

"HAHahahaHahahAhaHa!" "You're so pathetic, what a complete waste of life!" Sneered Imogen with disdain. "Die, kill yourself; do it!" Cheered Imogen as she sat down and watched Gil chop off his own head.

*You've Killed A: Named second cycle human called Gil

"Ohhhh Jim, I hope you didn't run off too far; because late at night evil things lurk in the dark." Giggled Imogen as she looked behind the tree that hid Jim.

 "Did you lose your way?" "Well let me help you out, I'LL GUIDE YOU TO THE AFTERLIFE!" Hollered Imogen as she picked Jim up and ripped him in two.

"Oh sweet blood, how I have missed you for so long." Whispered Imogen whilst she shoved chunks of Jim into her mouth. All you could hear was the ripping of flesh and the snapping of bones.

When Imogen finished with Jim, nothing was left except two halves of a face that hung on a tree branch.

*You've Killed A: Named second cycle human called Jim

Imogen then moved over to Gil, but she was not as patient when eating him as she was Jim. She fit huge portions of flesh into her mouth, of which should've been impossible for her to do.

As Imogen finished with Gil, her lower jaw was pulled up to form a mouth once again. Imogen then picked up a stick and nailed Gil's face into a tree, after that; she ran far into the great expanse that the humans call a forest.

With her desire for blood satiated, Imogen fell to the floor content as could be. But she didn't sleep well, for a part of her did not desire any of this.

~~~
"My headache is gone!" "Oh have the gods blessed me." Rejoiced Imogen as she got up and brushed dirt off her clothes. "Wait, why am I here; the last thing I remember doing is banging my head into a tree?" Questioned Imogen, starting to panic.
"I feel fine, great actually; so I couldn't have killed anything." Pointed out Imogen.
 "I must've knocked myself out and sleep walked to this part of the forest, now I have another problem to add to the pile." Complained Imogen.
"As much as I like sitting around and doing absolutely nothing, I have to head back for my flower." Announced Imogen as she pushed herself off the ground.
 "For some reason, I feel as though I shouldn't slack on drinking blood anymore; something bad might happen." Mumbled Imogen as set out on her trek to find the flower.
~~~

"Finally, I found you my flower." Extold Imogen. "Now how the hell did I sleep walk three miles away from you, something isn't adding up." Speculated Imogen.

 "Normally I'm not this idiotic, I just feel particularly dense today." Explained Imogen in her conversation with the flower.

"Did I kill something? No, I couldn't have." Claimed Imogen, repeating herself.

 "Thus far, I've remembered when I've gotten hysterical and that means I didn't kill anything." Reasoned Imogen.

 "Well not anything important at least, maybe I just killed a random creature." Compromised Imogen.

"Whatever the case may be, I should become more warry; it wouldn't be nice to find out I murdered someone during the night and that I'm in jail again." Gulped Imogen.

 "I digress, time to find some more creatures to kill; bring up my status system." Sighed Imogen, the world weighing on her heart.

"Why is my blood count at negative seven hundred and sixty eight, I thought my headache was coming from the loss of blood; that's why I was so adamant about me probably killing something!" Exclaimed Imogen as her jaw dropped to the floor, metaphorical this time.

"How can I even have negative blood in me, wouldn't that just kill me?" Pondered Imogen whilst pacing.

*Your lifespan is dropping at an alarming rate, all your Life Mana is being used to replace blood; your regular mana is now locked to help keep you alive

"You piece of crap system, you could've told me; this is why I hate you!" Thundered Imogen as she punched her fist half way through a tree.

*Your blood count hit zero last night and last night you were in no condition to listen

"How did I go so far into the negatives in just one night, tell me, system!" Yelled Imogen, but got no response; except for the whistling of wind in the morning sky.

 "Psh, you never say anything you don't want to." Decreed Imogen whilst she shoved the flower into her pocket.

"The flower will have to wait, my life is more important." Joked Imogen as she ripped a creature out of the ground.

 "This squirrel creature looks so cute, but I sadly ha- OW!" Shouted Imogen whilst the creature ripped her finger off.

*Not enough blood in excess to heal the creature named Imogen

"I don't feel bad anymore, I'm going to crunch your head into oblivion!" Alleged Imogen as she ran after the vicious creature.

Imogen pounced onto the creature with the ferocity of a jaguar, killing it as her full weight landed on it in the form of a knee. She had the strange notion to shove it in her mouth, but she ignored it and only focused on the blood.

 When she finished with it, she didn't feel very satiated and decided that it would take a long time to get back into the positives.

"The pain of my missing finger is unbearable at the least, but somehow I feel like it would've hurt more if I hadn't lived here for so long." Mused Imogen as she felt the empty space where her lost finger once was.

"I sure have grown quite a bit, now that I think about it; I'm a changed person for the most part." Admitted Imogen whilst she sat on her lap.

 "There still are some remnants of the past I cling onto... but no one can or should change entirely." Ruminated Imogen as she looked to the sky and thought about how much atmosphere a fire could bring her right now.

I'm not drunk.

I'm late because I wrote for two hours purely on adrenaline, so when you look back at the first seven hundred words or so; you can remember that the author was on a adrenaline frenzy. And when you use that much adrenaline for two hours (strait), you become really tried; I hopefully won't do it again.

I am sorry and I can't promise that this won't happen again; but I can promise that I'll try to prevent it. I hope you have a sublime day.

Sublime: magnificent or full of grandeur
