"Ouch! That hurt!" were Verum Aperios Voidborn's first words as he appeared in his castle.

Apeiros, who had been rudely thrown onto the cold, stone floor of his castle, got up and looked around.

His castle looked strange for it looked like a medieval one yet not at the same time.

By normal castle definitions it was, "A bit small, but otherwise okay"

Apeiros was in the middle of the courtyard which seemed to be about 30 by 30 meters, with a small wooden warehouse in the corner, as well a well beside it.

"I Don't think I can store much in that."

[Congratulations for selecting your units]

[Now, please spin the wheel to determine your affinities/talents]

"Ah! I was waiting for this. Let's hope my luck will come into play here. Spin the wheel!"

The wheel had, according to what he had read, at least 576,650,390,625 different outcomes divided into 5 categories of low, medium, high, perfect, and master levels for magic affinities.

There were many different types of magic, including but not limited to, Shadow, Death, Dark, Light, Life, Lightning, Water, Fire, Ice, Illusion, Soul, Blood, Beast, and Summoning Magic.

Then there was Ki, for the ones who did not use magic, Ki was an energy present in every living being, and while it dissipated instantaneously outside of living things, it could still be used to attack in short bursts of power in skills like [Heavy Blow] and [Whirlwind Blade].

There was no affinity for Ki because every living thing could utilize it, albeit after training.

[Congratulations upon obtaining magical affinities for Fire(M), Ice(M), Life(H), Shadow(M), and Earth(M)]

'Yeah, it's definitely my increased luck coming into play.'
