47 Storm Finds a Descendant
V.2 Chapter 16
Mars walks around the marketplace in Konoha with Storm on his head in his younger dog form. "Why don't you just walk." Mars mumbles to which Storm replies "Because I have you.." Mars sighs as he looks around the stalls. "Oh, hey Mars, how's Anne been doing?" a lady at one of the booths asks. "Shes great, she's out with her little girl group now." Mars says with a smile as he looks at the items on her booth, which are bracelets made of shiny rocks.
"I'll take these two." Mars says as he grabs a white and black bracelet. "That'll be 200 ryo." the lady says with a smile to which Mars nods and digs into his coat pocket and givers her two 100 ryo pieces as he pockets the bracelets. He then thanks the lady before walking down the street, looking at the other booths. He is interrupted by Storm sniffing the air and moving around on his head. "What's up?" mars says as he stops and looks up without moving his head.
"I smell my kin." Storm mumbles as he leaps off Mars head and heads into a nearby alley. Mars follows as Storm runs through the alleys till, they reach a certain alley with a few Genin in it laughing and throwing rocks at something or someone. Mars stops tilts his head at the sight as he hears one of the Genin yell "Thats right you stupid mutt, even if you're the son of the clan leader you are nothing compared to them, just look at your so-called partner, ptooie." as he spits at the ground.
"Don't talk about Akamaru like that." the boy being pelted with rocks says as he rushes at the kids but is quickly knocked back down by the group. "The dog and the boy have the Fenrir bloodline in them, though it's only a small amount." Storm says as he jumps up onto Mars shoulder. "Really?" Mars says in surprise as he looks over at the boy and dog.
"Well lucky him." Mars hears Storm mumble as he jumps off mars shoulder and makes his way up to the Genin. The Genin turn at the noise of steps to see Storm in his dog form. They sneer at the dog as one of them take a rock to throw but is stopped as lightning shoots out of Storm hitting the Genin causing him to freeze halfway through his throwing motion. "Damn brats, get lost before I bite you." Storm says and follows it up with a bark, that to others sounded like a regular old bark, but to the Genin's sounded like a roar of a colossal beast.
Storm then walks past the Genin, who are stunned by the bark, as he stops in front of the two who were getting hit by rocks and says "Follow me." as he turns back around, walking back past the Genin who are still stunned. The kid watches wide eyed and then shakes his head, picking up the dog next to him, then he follows Storm. They then walk out of town and into the forest where Storm finally stops in a spot surrounded by trees, causing the boy to stop too.
"Now then boy, what's your name." Storm says as he turns back towards the boy causing the boy to flinch, but then he whispers "Kiba, Kiba Inuzuka.." Storm then turns to the dog, who barks. "I see, Kiba and Akamaru, pleasure to meet you two, I am known as Storm, Storm Kuminaki." Storm says as he holds his head up high. "Who said you can use my last name damn mutt." a voice says causing Kiba and Akamaru to jump in fright before they turn to the voice to show Mars walking out from behind a tree.
"Hah, Anne allowed it so there." Storm says with a laugh causing Mars to sneer as he turns to Kiba and Akamaru. "So, what did you bring them out here for?" Mars says as he turns away from Kiba and Akamaru, to look at Storm. "As part of the Fenrir bloodline, it is my duty to teach them about our clan and their duty." Storm says to which Mars sighs as he walks up to Storm and grabs him by his neck, placing him on his head while saying "Well, without his parents' permission, you are not allowed to teach him anything, unless you want to be chased all over the village."
Mars then looks at Kiba and says "If you don't mind, we will walk you home, and while we're there maybe I can talk to your mother about Storms offer, if you're interested." to which Kiba nods and then places Akamaru in his hoodie. He then begins to walk out of the forest with Mars following closely. "So Kiba, you are in the academy, correct?" to which Kiba stops and turns to Mars then replies "Ya, I am in class 1, why?". Mars smiles and says "Well, I know a few of your classmates, all from class 1. I'm going to end up meeting the whole class." as he chuckles. Kiba nods as he begins walking again.
They then began to chat about class, dogs, among other things. After a while they make it out of the forest and through the village, until they make it to a large compound with the kanji for Inuzaka on the front. They then walk into a store front connected to the compound. Kiba walks to the counter where a girl with a long brown ponytail, two marks on her face like Kiba, and a green vest was sitting, with three large dogs sitting in front of the counter. "Hey nee-chan, where's Kaa-san." Kiba asks as he walks up to the girl. The girl looks down at Kiba, seeming to scan the boy's body for a moment before pointing to the door to the back of the room. Kiba nods and mumbles a quick thanks before heading through the door.
The girl then looks over to Mars who waves at her, when he notices her looking at him, before looking around, looking at the dog toys and treats. "Anything interests you." Mars says as he keeps looking around. "Wha..." the girl behind the counter begins to say before she is cut off by Storm saying "Nah, I've told you I'm no dog, I'm a wolf, stop insulting me like that." causing the girl to snap her head to Storm who is on top of Mars head. "Meh, you sure do act like one." Mars mumbles as he grabs one of the toys that squeaks when squeezed.
"Can I help you with something?" the girl asks causing Mars to turn to her and says "Nah, I'm just waiting on Kiba." as he smiles at the girl. "Oh, and why is that?" the girl asks while she puts her elbows on the counter while holding her head up with her hands. "Ah, well Storm here was hoping to give Kiba some special training, though I'm sure yell mother wouldn't appreciate someone training without knowing what it is, whether it would be good or bad." Mars says while moving his hand through Storms fur with a smile.
"Oh, and how would 'Storm' be qualified to teach my little brother?" the girl says as she smiles at Mars while the dogs around her begin to growl, seeming to try and intimidate them. Storm looks at the 3 dogs and growls back, silencing the 3 dogs who then look down and begin to whine. The girl looks over the dogs surprised at their reaction. "Storm stop playing around, sorry about him, he is a petty dog." Mars says while slapping the head of Storm on his head. "Mars I'm not a dog I'm a Fenrir." Strom growls as he begins to hit Mars with his paws, but Mars ignores him and apologizes to the girl.
"So, you're the one the brat was talking about huh." a voice comes from behind the girl causing mars to look behind her to see a woman with spiky hair and two marks on her cheeks quite like the girls and Kiba's, as she is followed by a large blue dog with an eyepatch and Kiba with Akamaru peeking out of the front of his hoodie. "A pleasure, I'm Mars Kuminaki, this is Storm, we met your son earlier and Storm seemed to have felt something special from him and Akamaru. If you have time now, I wouldn't mind explaining what's so special about them." Mars says while giving a slight bow and then pointing to Storm.
"Heh, the names Tsume Inuzuka, you've met my brats Kiba and Nana. This is my partner Kuromaru. Now then, if you'll follow me to explain what cha mean when you say you want to train my brat." Tsume says as she waves at Mars to follow. He follows her into the back followed by Kiba. They then walk into a small living room with 2 couches facing other separated by a table. Tsume and Kiba sit on one couch while Mars on the other. Kuromura lays next to Tsume by the couch. "Well, I guess I should start at the beginning, have you heard of Fenrir." Mars asks as he looks at the 4 across from him. Kiba looks confused but Tsume seems surprised. "Ya, I've heard of em. Some legends in our family say we are their descendants. Are you saying that pup is a Fenrir?" Tsume asks as she looks at Storm.
"I'm no pup woman, and you would do well to show me some respect, you damn mutt." Storm says as he jumps off behind Mars as he begins to enlarge until he is a wolf that towers over Mars as he growls at Tsume. Tsume and Kuromaru both stand up, getting ready to fight. "Storm, sit down." Mars says calmly without looking back. "But Mars the...." Storm says but is stopped when Mars turns to look Storm in the eye. Strom then stops growling as he clicks his tongue and lays down behind Mars, sticking with its larger form. "Sorry about him, he's quite sensitive about his origin. Yes, he is a Fenrir, but he is not just any Fenrir, but one of royal decent. His bloodline comes from the direct decent of the first original Fenrir. He has the ability to sense when others share the same bloodline as he, no matter how sparse the bloodline is, and that is what he sensed in Kiba and Akamaru." Mars explains while smiling.
"Storm can help the 2 of them to train and awaken their bloodlines. Of course, it is your choice if you would like to allow it. By training certain techniques from the Fenrir clan, Storm will be able to awaken the bloodline within Kiba and Akamaru. It would not change much about you other than giving you more wolfish features. It will also increase your natural speed, reflexes, and even strength. Though as I said I have only come to ask you, we will not do anything without your permission. You can even come watch as he trains the two of them if you want, though you should know the training will only be helpful to those with the Fenrir bloodline, so it won't have much of an impact on anyone else, case u decides to try it out." Mars explains with a smile.
Tsume looks Mars into the eye while glancing at Storm then at Kiba and Akamaru. "Fine, but I would like to watch the first couple of times, plus he still will learn our clans jutsu." she says to which Mars nods and replies "Thats fine, in fact we will only train his bloodline and body, since I have no experience with Chakra." they then nod and agree on a day before leaving the Inuzuka compound. "Tch, we shouldn't even do it with that woman's attitude." Storm says as he is back in his small form on top of Mars head. "You shouldn't take offense, from what I've heard, that's just how she is on the usual." Mars says with a laugh as they head home to let Anne know of the news.
