1 The Ace of the Generation of Miricals

It's my first time writing a story down.I want to make it as novel like as possible so that you being a part of the story would make sense. So expect the chapters to be long.. ^_^ Hope you enjoy!

You took a deep breath as you stood in front of the school gate. Is it always so nerve racking, entering a new school on the first day?, you thought to yourself.
' Well first thing's first, I've got to go in' . You said to yourself.
Seeing the crowds of students moving about, realizing that you recognize none of them as someone you know or been close to, you breathed a sigh of relief.
Upon entering even further you saw that some students have set up counters to recruit the newbies/freshmen in their clubs. You decided to join one now that you had the time to do so and it would be a good chance to make friends.
Scanning the names of the clubs put up, you came across the name 'the basketball club' and it was then that nostalgia hit you.
You smiled to yourself. " Maybe this time I might get to join the girls team, not that I didn't have fun before, being part of thatteam." you said to yourself. Just before you were about to reach the table you bumped into someone.
The boy turned around and you said "Oh sorry"
"It's fine" he said, you looked up at him. He had rusty red hair and fierce look in his eyes and not to mention he was really tall! You couldn't help stare at him. You looked away quickly to avoid any awkwardness.
That's when you noticed that he was holding a guy with one arm like one would hold a cat after lifting it up from the ground.
You stared in surprise as he walked holding the boy, where you were headed before.
He placed the boy on the table and said" I want to join the basketball club" The two students seated at the table were wearing the same expression as you and they froze to respond to him.
The girl from the two, then suddenly said smiling ' Welcome! Welcome! just filled out this form'
She held out a form and gave him a drink. She then started explaining about the basketball club.
He gave back the form and she looked at it. She noticed that he didn't place a reason as to why he wanted to join. On that he replied that Basketball is same everywhere in japan and walked away while shooting the paper cup he drank out of in the trash can without looking.
'Impressive', you thought. Just then the other members of the club joined to two already seated and started discussing their new member.
You couldn't help but be amused at what you had just seen.
You walked over to them. " Ano.. excuse me, is this where the you apply for the girls basketball team? or is there a girls basketball team to begin with?" you asked.
They all stared at you with a surprised expression. The girl at the table spoke " I'm sorry to say but there is no girls team, there is only one for boys at this school". You got a little disappointed but it wasn't something you didn't expected either.
"Oh I see, sorry to have bothered you" you bowed and were about to leave, just then the girl said " If your interested in basketball how about you join in as the manager? " she smiled. "That position is open"
"Manager? I thought you were the manager". you said, on that she replied with even bigger smile "I'm the coach of the team! " - " Really?! " You exclaimed.
She nodded her head and said, " Let me introduce myself, I'm Aida Riko, the coach of the team, this is-" she pointed at the boy sitting next to her " -Hyuga Junpie the captain of the team, - " then she pointed at the boy with sharp grey eyes "- that's Izuki shun, the point guard of the team, the one next to him is Mitobe rinnosuke, and this one here-" referring to boy who was placed on the table by the red haired boy "- is koganei Shinji" He smiled nervously at you and the others seemed nice too. We shared greetings.
"So how about it? " Riko asked. You agreed. You filled out the application form and Hyuga noticed your previous school's name. "Teiko?! The Teiko?!" He said out loud. Everyone looked at it with surprise and Izuki said " Since your a freshman, you must have seen how the generation of miracles are like!''
"A-ah , yeah.." replied and stood up " So then I will come to the gym later." With that you left them, to avoid further conversation on it. It's not that you wanted to hide the fact that you knew them, it's just that you didn't want to talk about yet.
Koganei looked at another application that was left out and gave it to riko. Hyuga looked at it and said " Looks like we have two of teiko's students joining us this year ".
" He was from the basketball club too.-" Riko said and banged her hand on the table in frustration "-Aaah! why can't I remember the golden egg's face?!". The rest sweat dropped.
