1 The betrayal

On a cold night in the mountains of Minastir, four adventurers find themselves chained in the depths of this mountain, in a silent cave where only faint sounds of undead can be heard in the background, as if celebrating the birth of something new. These individuals are bound by their hands and knees, watching their great friend and companion of numerous adventures laugh like a madman.

"HAHAHA FINALLY, THE POWER I'VE LONGED FOR..."

This half-human, half-cat tabaxi with fiery red hair was Aegon Joestar.

"AEGON! Stop this game and let's get out of here!" Kisn shouts towards his friend in front of him.

"You still don't understand, Kisn. This is no longer our old friend. Stop being foolish," Eragon mocks his friend beside him. Aegon, witnessing the whole situation, puts his right hand in his hair, throwing it back, and says "It wasn't so easy... I almost lost control of my mind... I didn't expect this being to be so psychologically strong!"

"AEGONNNN!" Cintila and Layla shout loudly. "What do you want, you useless ones?" Aegon responds abruptly. "You lost, and I won. How hard is it to accept that?" Aegon continues speaking calmly.

"That woman asked for our help and placed all her hopes in us, and you had the audacity to give everything away to those disgusting monsters for free?!" says the small fairy Layla, tears streaming down her face. "Yes, because what I'm doing is for the greater good... It's for more than just a few undead and their weak mother. It's for my revenge and my family" Aegon replies with a wicked look as he recalls his family.

At that moment, you hear a thunderous noise of chains breaking, and a skull wearing paladin armor running towards the monsters. "No, NO, this can't be right! Aegon wouldn't do this!" As he shouts these phrases, he strikes his axe into the heads of the undead behind Aegon. Aegon simply raises his hand, and a giant fist of fire hits Kisn directly, throwing him back to his friends, rendering him unconscious.

"Just stop, I don't want to waste any more time here... It was good while it lasted, but everything ends someday, and evolution must go on!" Aegon replies with a face of happiness. At that moment, Aegon unleashes one of his strongest fire spells towards his friends to kill them and end everything. Cintila quickly uses the last of her mana to cast a small healing spell that wakes her fallen friend in front of her. "Wake up, we can't give up now, Kisn! HELP US!"

Kisn rises at the last second, placing his shield in front of his friends. However, Aegon's magic is so powerful that the bones of the skull begin to melt from the intense heat emitted by Aegon's bluish fire. "AHHHHHH SHITTT!" He screams in pain and despair.

"It's over, Kisn, my friend..." Aegon speaks in a somewhat sad tone. "My goal was never to be here. One day, I knew I would have to disappear, and today was that day..." Aegon clenches his fist, and the entire cave explodes, throwing his friends and the debris of the mountain down towards their death.

"To have something in this miserable world... sacrifices are necessary... Being willing to lose everything to gain everything, that's what my father taught me. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, I'm so sorry, but I have to do this. I'm so sorry, and thank you for all the memories..." Aegon says this in a tremendous confusion of emotions, as if trying to somehow hide the weight of his decision. Looking at all the destruction, Aegon says

"Finally, this day has come, father, and now everyone will know who we are. The Joestars will no longer be forgotten in this disgusting world."
