1 The Beginning The Story Set In The North Blue (Prologue)

We open in a small village in the north blue called "Niku Village"

"*Yawn* isn't it to early to be awake?" said John

this is the protagonist of this story with bright blue eyes and golden blonde hair he is short even for an 8 year old he has big dreams of piracy.

"Do you want to steal these 2 devil fruits or not!" replied Zane in a rather angry tone

"you woke up on the wrong side of the bed didn't you, I mean yes of course I do but we have to be careful these pirates are really strong they could kill us in one hit" said John in an oddly enthusiastic tone "Did you get dropped on your head as baby what's wrong with you, you shouldn't be happy about this" "ye your right were only 8 but I am THE Lion D. John and you are Blast Zane we have nothing to worry about Rahahahahaha"

*They both squeeze in through the tight window when the golden sword pirates are sound asleep*

"ok you grab the fruits ill get some gold and maybe even some weapons" whispered John

*Zane nods in agreement*

john explored the giant ship found 2 flintlocks and sword but no gold or treasure

"they must keep all there treasure in a special place" john enters the pirate captains office

**wait is that a golden sword** john thinks to himself

john grabs the sword and quickly leaves the pirate ship he meets up with Zane at the tavern where they live alone the pub's owner Kurana who check's in on them every day to give them food she is like a foster mother to the 2 orphans

"what'd you get this time, please tell me these guys had something good the pirates around these parts are always dirt poor" said Zane "You're not gonna believe this, i found 2 guns a sword AND a freaking GOLDEN SWORD!" exclaimed John "What? Is that why there called the golden sword pirates bit on the nose don't ya think" said Zane in a bewildered tone "we should see old man Naniko about how much money we can get for it" said John "now the big question is do we sell or eat the devil fruits" he continues "wait do you hear that creaking noise, CRAP its Kurana hid what we stole and" said Zane moments later the door swings open "good morning boys are you doing all right today?" said "yes miss Kurana" replied the boys "I told you just call me Kurana you're family after all, anyway I'm going to start making breakfast now so get ready wash your hand and brush your teeth" "all right" replied the boys they get ready for the day and then pull out the two devil fruits

one black and purple with alternation coloured swirls with the shape of an apple and the other bright blue with accents of yellow, they sit there wondering whether to eat it when "Boys breakfast is ready come down!" exclaimed Kurana, "Coming!" exclaimed the boys

2 days later

"Holy crap we're set for life we have so much money" said john in a naïve voice "Dude you do know that wont last us for ever we sold like 5 pieces of gold we got so much money because the sword was pure gold speaking of which have u heard that there abducting people from the village to try to get it back" said Zane, "Why should we care they left us for dead after our family died we had to live on the street the only villagers i care about are Kurana and old man Naniko they are the only ones who are good to us the others treat us like trash why should I care I'm setting sail as soon as i become an adult that's our plan" said john in an oddly serious tone, "We have to be better than them John we need to be better ok, we cant be like them, we cant we just cant i know what we've been through isn't fair but everyone is entitled to a good life goddam it" said Zane on the brink of tears "Zane, whatever happens don't give yourself up you're like a brother to me I couldn't live without you, let me take the blame ok I'm the one who stole it this isn't your fault, if things get bad like if Kurana gets taken ill give myself up trust me please" said john tears running down his face

*Meanwhile*

"BOSS" said a pirate, "What is it you worthless piece of trash gyhahahahahah gyhahahahahaha gyhahahahaha" said 'golden sword' Jack, "We've heard word of two kids selling some gold to a merchant", "do they have a guardian?" "Yes a woman named Kurana"

*We cut back to our hero's*

"All right I trust you john, don't die on me take them down ok?", "Ye", "Hey boy's dinner time come down into the tavern" shouted Kurana, "all right" they both yelled, they quickly get ready to eat putting on there shoes and washing there hands they run down stairs and....

"WHERE IS SHE!" yells john noticing a trashed tavern and Kurana gone, "It was the pirates they took her" said a customer, "I'll murder them, ill murder every last one if they so much as touch her I'll kill them all" yelled john in anger before running towards the pirate ship, "Shit" says Zane only just getting down the stairs and hearing john's fit of rage "JOHN NO! PLEASE, why'd I say I trust him dam it, all right what do I do, I go after him right but I'm too scared but I have to save him, wait that sword he got me that sword I'm not swordsman but I'm sure I could do some damage with it" he runs back up stairs and grabs the sword he also realizes the devil fruits could help he grabs both "john I'm coming" he says really determined "I will save you"

"KURANA" yells john just arriving at the boat, "JOHN NO GET OUT OF HERE DONT RISK YOUR LIFE FOR ME I COULDN'T LIVE WITH MYSELF IF I LET YOU DIE" yelled Kurana back, "Well im not gonna die" says john with a smirk on his face when CRASH he got hit in the back of the head by a pirate and is knocked out and pinned to the wall

"huh-hmm w-what happened, KURANA" he notices he's pinned to the wall ""What happened did i get knocked out I got to save her she's more important to me than my whole life KURANA I WILL SAVE YOU" POW he gets hit in the stomach by a club "uh-uh-uh what ow who are you", "YOU STOLE FROM ME! WHERE IS MY SWORD AND WHERE ARE MY DEVIL FRUITS DID YOU SELL THEM" yelled 'Golden Sword' slamming the club into him 3 more times "uh-uh *cough* uh-uh I W-W-WILL SAVE K-K-KURANA *cough*" he gets hit in the stomach another 3 time then he hears "JOHN", "ZANE S-S-SHIT G-G-GET O-OUT OF uh-uh HERE", "IVE GOT YOUR DEVIL FRUITS SO LET THEM GO", "I'll be right back kid gyahahahaha"

he walks out the door way when swing Zane swung the sword down but 'Golden Sword' blocks it "What the... what was that his eyes flashed red", "That's my special gift 'future sight' comes in handy when people try to attack me, I can also see people spirit's with it I was born with this gift gyhahahaha" he grabs Zane "JOHN EAT THIS" he throws the black and purple devil fruit to john who catches it in his mouth and bites down "WHY YOU LITT-"

John turns into a black mist and escapes "I feel stronger than i was, come at me" 'golden sword' swings his club and john only this time it goes through him "Logia? We had one of those on board i can only keep this up for a second but 'IMBUING HAKI' GYHAHAHHAHA" he gets a solid hit on John knocking him off his feat and causing a scar on his forehead, "DAMN YOU, HOW DARE YOU HURT HIM" shouts Zane just then he eats the other fruit "whys everything moving in slow motion am i fast holy shit this is cool" he slashes 'golden sword' all over his body and then John finishes him with a over head kick, "Boss what was that, Boss?, EVERYONE THERES SOMETHING WRONG WITH THE BOSS GET IN HERE", "Well shit" says zane "what are you worried about im Lion D. John and you are Blast Zane we can do this", "Ye I trust you lets do it" about 50 pirates walk in all armed with various weapons *CRASH* *BOOM *CRACK* *SHING* it was all over in a flash Zane and John took them out single handily

flash forward 12 years

John and Zane are 20 John grew out his beautiful golden hair to cover the massive scar on his forehead and Zane carries a pair of Katana and has seemed to have bulked up "are we gonna set off without saying bye to Kurana, captain" said Zane "A man says his goodbyes silently, first mate" Zane smirking "all right lets go" they set off in the pirate ship of the now defunct pirate group 'the golden sword pirates' with their own flag as the 'Cracked head pirates'
