Ultimate Moves

After they moved into the dorms, they were in class; Mika chatted with Koji, Fumikage, and Rikido, "What do you think we'll be doing today?" Rikido asked. Mika placed her hand on her chin, "I'm not sure... it could be anything." she said, "Hopefully, it's beneficial to the provisional licenses."

Fumikage nodded, "Agreed." he said; Koji nodded in agreement. "Hey Mika." Mika turned her head towards the voice and saw Tsuyu; she smiled, "Hey Tsu, how are you feeling?" she asked.

Tsuyu smiled a bit, "I'm fine, thanks for asking." she said, "I heard from Ochaco that you and Koda are dating, is that true?" The said duo blushed a bit, but they nodded, "What you heard was true." Mika said.

Tsuyu smiled, "I had a feeling that you two were together for a while, but I didn't want to say anything." she said, "I'm glad things worked out." Koji was a blushing mess, but Mika smiled, "Thanks." she said.

After their conversation, Mr. Aizawa entered the room, making them sit at their seats, "Good morning, students." he said. They looked at Mr. Aizawa, "Good morning, Sensei." they said. Mr. Aizawa looked at them, "As I told you yesterday, our primary goal is to gain provisional licenses." he said.

They nodded, "Hero licenses are a serious responsibility." Mr. Aizawa continued, "They're directly concerned with matters of life and death; receiving one is very hard. Even the average yearly passing rate for just a provisional license is about fifty percent."

They were a little worried, "So, starting today..." Mr. Aizawa started slowly. The front classroom door opened, making them turn towards it. They saw Midnight, Cementoss, and Ectoplasm enter the room, "You'll be coming up with at least two super moves." Mr. Aizawa said.

They were excited, "Something school-like, but also hero-like!" they shouted. Ectoplasm looked at them, "These super moves will be your finishers." he said, "Your unique techniques."

Cementoss raised one finger up, "Internalizes these moves; make them your own until they become unparalleled." he said, "Combat is all about finding and making use of your strengths."

Midnight smiled, "Your moves will symbolize who you are." she said, "Nowadays, pros without super moves are a dying breed."

Mr. Aizawa looked at them, "We'll tell you more later, for now change into your hero costumes and head to gym Gamma." he said. "Yes, sir!" they shouted as they headed to the changing rooms.

(Time Skip)

They entered Ground Gamma, or Training and Dining Land (TDL), "This is my personal facility." they looked at Cementoss, "I can fashion whatever terrains or objects I believe best suit each student."

They nodded in understanding, *First USJ now this place... what's with these names.* Mika thought. Tenya raised his hand, "I have a question, Sensei!" he shouted, "Why is it necessary for us to get super moves for the provisional licenses!? I would like to know more of your plan!?"

Mr. Aizawa looked at Tenya, "I'll lay it out in order, just calm down." he said, "It's a hero's job to rescue from different perils. Whether its from accidents, natural disasters, or man made incidents."

Mr. Aizawa looked at them, "This exam for this license will judge your aptitude." he continued, "From insight to communication skills, they'll test many factors as the exam changes every year."

Mr. Aizawa closed his eyes, "But with that paradigm, the item that will receive far and away the most emphasis for upcoming heroes is fighting prowess." he said; some were worried.

Midnight looked at them, "So if you prepare for that, you won't cause for concern." she said, "Keep in mind that having moves for battle influences how likely it is to pass."

Cementoss nodded, "If you can resist getting caught up in the situation's sway and maintain stability on the field, then you'll receive a high-level fighting prowess." he said.

Ectoplasm looked at them, "And there is no reason our super move has to be offensive." he said, "Take Iida's Reciproburst and Lyoko's ability to freeze time."

They were surprised, "A temporary speed boost and a temporary freeze in time is a threat itself." Ectoplasm continued, "Therefore they're worthy to have the title 'super move'."

Tenya was brimming in pride, "I did not know..." he said. Mika blushed a bit with a smile and rubbed the back of her head, "I never thought of that as a super move..." she said.

Rikido turned to them, "I get it now, we need to make a move that says, 'All I got to do is use it and have the edge'." he said. The teachers nodded, "The 'Quirk Extension' training that was cut short was supposed to be a step in creating super moves." Mr. Aizawa said.

They were shocked, "So in the ten days of summer break that we have left." Mr. Aizawa continued, "Between now and the start of the next semester, you're in for some two-in-one training."

As Mr. Aizawa finished his sentence, Cementoss created different cement platforms and Ectoplasm made twenty clones, "You'll be extending your Quirks and create super moves at the same time." he said.

Mr. Aizawa looked at them, "You'll also be thinking of upgrades that will be beneficial for your hero costumes and new super moves." he continued.

They looked at Mr. Aizawa, "You shall break past these walls with 'Plus Ultra' on your lips; now, are you ready?" he said. "Yes, sir!" they shouted. "I'm psyched about this." Denki said. They went to their own platforms and trained on their Quirks.

(Time Skip)

On one of the platforms, Mika trained in her tiger hybrid with an Ectoplasm clone; he dodged her attacks and got hit with a few. Ectoplasm was about to trip Mika, but she quickly transformed into a kangaroo hybrid and jumped.

As Ectoplasm looked at Mika, she transformed into an elephant hybrid and slammed on him. When the Ectoplasm clone disappeared, Mika used her collar with her trunk, making her turn back to normal. Mika turned to the real Ectoplasm, "Sensei, I need another clone." she said.

Ectoplasm nodded and created another clone for Mika. Ectoplasm looked at Mika, "It seems like parts of your training have paid off." he said. Mika looked at her hand, "It's true that I'm not as tired as I was before, but I feel like I something is missing other than another super move." she said.

Ectoplasm looked at Mika, "How so?" he asked; she turned to him, "Well... I thought there could be chances that my equipment could malfunction or something." she said.

Mika looked at her collar, "Like, if the Normalizer runs out of the special serum, I wouldn't be able to transform back, and I might be in an animal that doesn't have fingers." she continued.

Ectoplasm nodded, "Sounds like this will be the best opportunity for your equipment to gain upgrades." he said. Mika nodded in agreement, "As for combat, it could use more training on it, but for now go to the support company to tell them about the upgrades." Ectoplasm said.

Mika nodded, "Yes sir." she said; as she turned around, eagle wings came out of her back. Mika flew up and towards the exit. Mika landed on the ground and deactivated her wings, "Young Lyoko." she turned her head and saw All Might in his weak form, "I have some advice for you."

Mika nodded, "Okay." she said; All Might made a fist with his free hand, "You're holding back on something you fear." he said, "Don't let that fear consume you." Mika nodded, "Thank you for the advice, All Might." she said. All Might nodded and tried to find another student to encourage.

When Mika was outside, she placed her hand on her chin, *Don't let my fear consume me... could they know?* she thought. When Mika looked forward, she saw Koji walking towards the school. Mika smiled and ran towards Koji, "Hey Koji." she said.

Koji turned to Mika; he smiled and waved as she caught up, "Are you heading to the support company for upgrades?" she asked. Koji nodded, "Want to walk together?" Mika asked; he nodded as they headed to the school.

(Time Skip)

They walked in the hallway, talking about their upgrades and their super moves. Mika looked at her hand, "I'm hoping that these upgrades to my hero costume aren't too much for the support company." she said.

Mika turned to Koji, "Do you think the others will get upgrades as well?" she asked. Koji thought about it, "*It's possible, but I don't think many people will get upgrades.*" he signed.

Mika nodded, "True, but-" as they got to the entrance, they saw an explosion at the door, making them jump a bit. Mika had a blank expression, "What the hell just happened?" she asked. Koji got worried, "*Do you think anyone got hurt in there?*" he signed.

Mika shook her head, "I don't think so." she said. Mika pointed to something, "They look like they're okay... kind of..." she continued. Koji was confused until he saw Izuku, Ochaco, and Tenya with swirls in their eyes, making him slightly nod.

They looked at the studio entrance and saw a girl with pink hair and yellow eyes in a black tank top, workshop coveralls, and boots, "That's my bad." she said with a slight grin. The girl looked at the two standing in the hallway, making her grin bigger.

She ran towards them, "Are you two here for upgrades for your hero costumes as well!?" she shouted, smiling. Mika was a little scared on the inside, but she nodded, "Yes." she said.

Her smile became bigger, "I'll be happy to help you two as well!" she shouted, making them nervous. "After what you did to those three, you're not bothering those two, Mei Hatsume." They looked behind Mei and saw a man with an excavator mask, big gloves, and blue jeans.

Mei looked at the man, "Aw, come on! I want to try my babies on them!" she shouted. Their faces were red, "Your what?" Mika asked. The man shook his head, "She means her gadgets." he said.

He walked towards them, "I apologize if what she said something to have made you two feel uncomfortable." he continued.

Mika shook her head, "It's fine, I thought it meant something else." she said, "Anyway, I'm glad to speak with you again, Power Loader-sensei." Power Loader nodded, "I'm assuming you guys are here for upgrades to your hero costumes." he said.

They nodded, making Power Loader nod, "Follow me to the development studio." he continued. They nodded "Yes sir." Mika said as they followed Power Loader to the development studio.

They entered the studio and looked at Power Loader, "Before I could do any costume redesigns and equipment upgrades, I'll need your costume's manuals." he said as he held his hand out.

They nodded as they gave Power Loader their costume manuals; he nodded as he took them, "Thank you." he said. Power Loader looked to Mika, "I'm guessing you want a few upgrades to you hero equipment." he continued.

Mika nodded, "That's correct, I was thinking of some ideas on upgrading my hero costume and my equipment." she said. Power Loader nodded, "Alright then, what are your ideas?" he asked.

Mika placed her hand on her cheek, "Well... the first thing I would like to talk about is the Normalizer." she said.

Mika pointed to her collar, "I thought of the disadvantages I could be in if I ran out of the serum that turns me back to normal and the possibility of not being able to transform back if I can't use my hands." she continued.

Mika looked at Power Loader, "So, I thought the collar could have a voice recognition on it and somehow have a storage system for the serum." she said.

Power Loader nodded, "I guess I would have that similar insecurity with the Awakenings." Mika said as she pointed to the sleeves on her feet, "Sometimes, I think I might run out of juice."

Power Loader nodded, "I understand why you feel unease about the disadvantages to your equipment, and will try to counter those weaknesses." he said, "What do you think of the braces on your lower arms?"

Mika looked at the braces, "They're fine, but sometimes they feel like they're in the way." she said, "Those are the ideas I can think of so far; I hope this isn't too much."

Power Loader shook his head, "This is no trouble, Lyoko." he said, "We'll have this sorted out; if you need costume changes, let me know." Mika smiled and nodded, "Yes sir." she said; Power Loader nodded and turned to Koji, "Now then, what upgrades are you needing?" he asked.

Koji rubbed his arm, "W-Well... I-I need a-a gadget t-that c-can help e-enhance m-my Quirk, a-and gear t-that c-can help me." he said.

Power Loader nodded, "I understand, Koda." he said, "I'll work on that. Is that all?" Koji nodded, making Power Loader smile a bit, "Alright then, I'll get to it." he said.

Power Loader handed their manuals to them, "I'll give your manuals back." he continued, "If you want any more costume designs, let me know."

They nodded as they took their manuals; they bowed, "Thank you, Power Loader-sensei." Mika said. Power Loader nodded as they left the development studio.
