1 Chapter 1 I did die, right?
"Where...am I? Am I dead...for real this time?" I looked around, confused. After I was defeated by the Black Serpent Empress, I blacked out. I assumed that she would had killed me by now, since she fully knew that I would become a massive thorn for her if she were to let me go this time.

"Right now, all I can see is darkness. Darkness! And darkness!? My body's glowing and...I only have my underwear on...Great, am I supposed to enter the Underworld with only my undies? Regarding the ethics and rules of the dead, I'll admit I'm not too familiar with them," I sighed helplessly.

After all, for the past 99 times, after getting killed by the Serpent Empress, my soul would chip off a part of its essence to randomly teleport to somewhere safe so that I can recuperate and retrain myself for the next battle with the Empress. Furthermore, I've already escaped the Grim Reaper for tens of thousands of years now...So now that I'm actually dead, I can now start my journey down the Yellow Road? No, I should call it...Yeah, the Path of Faithfulness in a world of absolute darkness!

"Haiz...I do hope I have enough faith and patience to finish this journey...Now then, let's start!" After I confirmed my surroundings one more time, I took a deep breath before I started my journey down the Path of Faithfulness.

Year 10, Path of Faithfulness
Time flew by in a jiff. Almost 10 years had passed since I began my journey down the Path of Faithfulness. The very concept of time should not exist here but for some reason, I can still accurately grasp time here. Strange, I have not cultivated the Time Element and yet I can still somewhat use it. Odd indeed.

During my endless journey to the Underworld, I have met many other beings. For example, I met a young couple comprised of the dragon, Fafnir who said his name was Sieg and the hero of France, Jeanne who was kind and friendly. We travelled together for a couple of years before they suddenly vanished in a flash of light. I knew that the couple had reached their finish line. I bid them farewell before continuing my own journey.

Soon after that, I met another friend. He suddenly appeared beside me, introduced himself as the Neoh Dragon, a kind soul who had accompanied me on my journey for about 3 years before bidding his farewell to me. I was disappointed that he had to leave so soon but hey, we all have different finish lines, and that these matters cannot be rushed. So, I too bid him farewell, but before he left, he wanted to give me a gift that will decrease my boredom during my journey.

He gave me a book. I was surprised at first because I thought the dead could not bring their worldly items with them to the Underworld, alas, he proved me wrong. He took out a book from his sleeves and handed it to me...At that moment, I was touched...No one, not a single person had ever given me anything out of goodwill, not even back when I was alive. After that, he just disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Today marked the 100th year since the start of my endless journey on the Path of Faithfulness.

The book Neoh gifted to me 90 years ago still has that new book smell every human loved. The book kept me occupied for 90 years straight, because it was not just an ordinary book...No, it was a cultivation manual. A high grade one at that! It had taken me 90 years to read and comprehend only the second page of the manual. This manual's grade should have at least been Heavenly God grade but for tier, I'm not too sure. Nonetheless, I'm grateful that I still have something to do during this boring ass journey.

Year 500, the Path of Faithfulness
"To form Star power, one must first fuse spiritual energy with heavenly energy...A successful fusion will let you experience star power, but a failed fusion will become a Supernova...So, to achieve Star power, I need both spiritual and heavenly energies. I'm currently only a soul so I have abundant amounts of Spiritual Energy, but I don't even have a single thread of Heavenly Energy within me. Guess, I'll stop here for now," I closed the manual and continued my journey. It's already been 500 years now, I've yet to see the exit but I won't lose hope! Although I can't see it, I could sense it! And it's all thanks to this cultivation manual, gifted to me by Neoh.

After studying and revising the first 3 pages of the manual for hundreds of years, I've properly grasped the fundamentals and gained a deep understanding of the manual's purpose. This manual was called 7 Star Origin Nova Cultivation Technique that lets me gain knowledge about Star power, an energy more mysterious than Heavenly Energy and Dark Matter, which Space is full of fyi. The manuals describes that all stars & planets within Space was created using Star power, whereas black holes and worm holes are filled with this mysterious energy. How mysterious and exciting is that, uncovering the secrets of Space, the boundless domain I was supposed to protect.

As I snapped back to reality, I noticed something. "What the? Is that? Light??" Then something just clicked within my head. "Ah! The exit! I finally made it! Hahaha! I knew my patience will pay off! Elysium here I come!!"

I couldn't hold my excitement any longer as I dashed towards the light at breakneck speed. "Elysium here I come!?!?!?!" I stopped dead in my tracks after I entered the light. "Where am I?"

I was so confused that when I turned back around, the Path of Faithfulness disappeared completely. It became a cave wall. "It seems that I've returned to the mortal realms, and eh? My hands, why are they so small? My view of the world, is it lower compared to just now? And my body, I'm not in my undies anymore!?!? I'm wearing a child's clothes? What's going on here exactly?!" It seems I've been reincarnated as a 5-year-old young boy? "Heavens! What is the meaning of this???"
