1 Prologue

The story you are about to read is based on a true story.

This is my story and what really happened to me.

This is not a word for word, action for action transcript of what happened.

This is what I remember and it is from my point of view.

This story started in the year 2000 but it has been burned in my memory like it happened last week.

Things like this you don't forget, they stay with you forever.

I am only including first names in the story to protect the identity of the people involved.

The story is short and bittersweet and has to deal with love and pain and the loss of a loved one as well as suicide.
